You made the game to hard
Bungie please let me have my game back that I loved. Over 1000 hours played been through all the rough times. D1 and D2 love the franchise my favorite game. Just by making us weaker isn't creating more difficult that is artificial difficulty. These changes have made me quit. Please make some changes. I want to play but I log do some. Want to run nightfalls can't get my friends to want to play anymore either for the same reason and when you matchmake people get frustrated and quit. So please figure out something. I miss Destiny

2 RepliesEdited by The Hermit IX: 4/30/2023 7:56:51 AMStart with leveling up. You are considerably under level so things will feel like a bullet sponge. You’re running a double primary load out. Use your special weapons and there’s several exotics with intrinsic champion stun. Chill clip perk does wonders. You’re using a PVP exotic in ophidians. I love them for PVP but you have much better exotics you can use for a better PVE build. These 3 things will make things easier for you. Leveling, a proper build with an exotic, leaving the double primary gang and you’ll be cruising through things. Bungie isn’t going to change the way things are. It’s by design so take the advice several are offering and you can enjoy the game again.

Two primary weapons has never been a good choice and it's even less justifiable now that subclass keywords work against Champions. Heavy GLs aren't really "in" right now - can't fault someone for not knowing that - but the perks on yours are effectively worthless. Ophidian Aspect is a very good Exotic, but not for PvE; it offers you nothing towards any build. Speaking of builds, your mods are all over the place. First and foremost, you have 4 Discipline mods on and a stat total of 120, effectively wasting 20 stat points - your gauntlets don't appear to have any mods at all on. Beyond that, you have [i]way[/i] too many means of using Armor Charges but no consistent means of generating them. One Reaper mod isn't going to sustain two mods that consume 3 Charges when used [i]and[/i] the Font/Surge mods that cause Charges to decay over time. Stick on a Siphon, Hands On, Firepower or some combination thereof and cut down on the mods that use the Charges, as the mod slots are better used for other things. Your loadout doesn't need to be perfectly optimised and comprised of only the most top-of-the-meta items, but it does need to be better than a set of whatever random items you happen to have in your inventory with no connecting theme.

I don’t barely play pve anymore, I’ve always mained pvp but Christ, pve is just a sloth fest, I don’t know who at bungie thought making me shoot the same enemy for 60 seconds was fun. It’s like they’re trying to kill the game

You are very low for doing nightfalls. Once you have leveled up the game is really only marginally harder than it was if you are utilizing a decent build. Look into some builds online. Even if you cant perfectly match them most of them will work fairly well if you can get close. I see your warlock is your highest level and you have access to starfire protocol, contraverse hold, and sunbracers. All three of those exotics are the foundation to amazing and easy to set up builds. Get your resilence up. You get 30% damage reduction at tier 10 and that is huge. Its worth sacrificing a tier or two in other stats in nearly every case.

If the lowest nightfall recommends 1770 light level and you are at 1750, what are you expecting besides a struggle? After 1k hours and you post this, what you been doing all that time. Sitting in orbit? Emoting at the tower? 🤦🤦

For example the Psi Ops one on the moon could definitely use a bit of a nerf on the boss fight. And if the Mars Battleground strike is staying around, please for the love of Orbs remove the insta-death if we hit one of those laser beams.

You gotta get your light level up. It should be close to matching whatever event or area you are playing. Even with double primaries if your light level matches or is within 10 it’s much easier. I was complaining about neomuna being to hard at first. Turns out i was under powered

I agree with you. You know what would be great, If Bungie conduct a poll and ask how the player feel about the increase difficulty. They have our email addresses, they know the player who pay, they know the amount of time player spend on this game.

1 ReplyI'm kind of bad at this game. Only been playing it for a year, but that's long enough. Most of the time when I die, it's my fault. I think everyone should put some effort into their builds and how they play instead of asking for the game to be easier. It's not perfect. I agree with the bullet sponges. But We have so many tools at our disposal it's doable. Things can get burned through. Not every player casual or not, needs to be able to complete every activity. That's not fun for them, but the game is in a worst state by being too easy. Even at the base. "Skill" checks are important.

Make sure you aren’t under-leveled. And if the game is still difficult after that, just play on a solar warlock. There’s no possible way you can struggle at that point.

Its really not hard, im as casual as they come i have had no issue doing any of the content be it GM’s, dungeons, raids, and the legendary campaign. Im not a careful player either i dont care for staying back cherry picking enemies im more of an aggressive play style and with the new mod system it allows me to do that while keeping myself alive easily. Play around with builds to suit your play style thats all it took for me.
