What does the score for Iron Banner even represent in the post-game stats menu? The 'score' column isn't the sum of the other values. It's meaningless.
There should at least be a way to see kills/deaths in _every_ game-mode post-game status, a la Halo where you can tab through the various stat screens if there's more than one.

Yeah because if you show that lil timmy got 2 kills and ided 20 times, he gets embarassed and leaves.

Edited by Cal O'Mari: 4/28/2023 3:34:50 AMSo Iron Banner is a heavily team based play. Scoring should be all team based for it. Kills/deaths makes sense in TDM or Free for All, but anything with objectives, it just doesn't matter. The only thing it does is separates people because it gives an unwarranted finger to point if someone just wants to be angry for the sake of being angry, and there's at least one in every single match. You work as a team, you win or lose as a team, succeed or fail as a team. There is no individual fault unless they are actively sabotaging the team. This is reinforced by the scoring. Its the only proper way to score anything on objective based play. I know alot of players do like to see how well they personally did, that is also very true, it has multiple purposes, but it has no point to Iron Banner. Luckily we have stats to see our overall K/D, win/loss ratios in our "Collections" stat trackers at any time, for all relevant activities.

1 ReplyThis week’s IB prioritizes capturing zones. Kinda like how Rift doesn’t tell you the kills/deaths at the end of a match.

2 RepliesCause the game mode isn't scored on just kd.
