If banshee is a gunsmith…
Shouldn’t we be able to craft or at least reshape weapons with him?

He should've at least gave us the ability to reroll the first two columns imo, even if it was only one perk at a time.

1 ReplyI remember Bungie promoting it as weapon crafting in D1. But you'd pretty much just grab a sort of bounty and kill with that gun archetype and you'd get it. Budgie promoted it as though it was gonna more more complex than it actually was lol it only took em what... Like 7 years to actually be able to craft a weapon frame up.

Before they talked about crafting, I made numerous posts about having banshee sell common (white) weapons that you could buy and level up with exp. Leveling would unlock the 4 perk columns and every time you unlocked one, you could go to banshee and buy the perk you want to slot in the column.

Honestly yeah, he’d have the most knowledge to do so to the fullest extent.

Next season we will be able to aplly deepsight to any craftable weapon at banshee.

It would make sense. I know there are some lore connections between the Forge on Mars and the re-shaping Weapons, but definetely this is something I'd connect to Banshee more then that.

I'm pretty sure that was the hype when people first heard of Weapon Crafting before Witch Queen. It does make a lot of sense.

This I hate having to go the enclave to swap perks on my weapons, when there is a literal gunsmith in the Tower
