I purchased a bundle edition of Destiny 2 on PS4 on the 29/08/2018 which included Warmind, Curse of Osiris and Forsaken.
Now the game states I need to purchase the Forsaken pack to play content I have always had access to. Where has my DLC gone?
This is ABSOLUTLEY NOT a PlayStation issue as the Mentors of this community are all too happy to palm this off on.
This is an issue with Bungie vaulting DLC's and changing the version of the game owned. All PlayStation support advise is to "Restore Licenses" and "Rebuild the database".
I have did both of these and still the PS store requires me to purchase the DLC again.
Presumably because the version in my transaction history has been retroactively changed to "Destiny 2: PS4 & PS5 Edition even though the PS5 was not even a thing when I purchased the Destiny 2 Forsaken Bundle.
This means that the Destiny 2: Forsaken Bundle edition that I purchased has been changed to this new PS4 / PS5 version and DLCs have not been moved with it. The reason the DLC still appears for purchase in the store is because it was a part of a bundle edition that no longer exists.
I'm still playing on my PS4, no cross saves, no porting etc. The DLC should still be there but as the game version is different, it isn't.
Please do not tell me it a PlayStation issue as they don't seem to be able to do anything about it. Bungie has contorted and twisted the game that is on the store so much, it is you that have made the mistake during migration or vaulting, not Sony.
It is Bungies responsibility to resolve this, I will not be paying for a DLC I have already purchased.
Many others have posted similar issues and Bungie are washing their hands as though they cannot see what was purchased or do not know why this is happening.
Answers please.

If the store says you need to rebuy it, then you have to take that up with the store's support team.

1 Replyahem....bungie does not control your access to content. the platform you play on does that. so, back to sony with you.

1 ReplyLicenses are controlled by the platform not Bungie.
