Plum error codes
got plum twice now while playing gambit, pretty sure there with cheaters on the opposing team in both instances, yet im getting the boot as if im cheating, today is the first time i have ever received these error codes, bungie fix your game, this nonsense is getting unbearable
EDIT- so far after setting an exception for battle eye on my anti virus the problem has stopped

I'm getting this error too. I'm about 25m into the story mission when I get the "contacting Destiny 2 servers" and then Battleeye crashes. Playing the game is a waste of time if I cannot finish an activity.

Battle eye does a better job at keeping regular players out than the actual hackers

I was able to log on and play before the maintenance started today. I have been trying to log on for about and hour now. It pops up "Trying to Connect to Server". After a few attempts, the screen pops up BATTLEYE ERROR with the code plum. Also, BattlEye pops up a "Client not responding" message. Game worked with no major issues until the latest down time.

Same here since maintenence. Chicken error, retry, plum error and a pop up for battleeye "client not responding" verified instal, hard reboot still the same.

I'm getting error plum on PC. So this is still not fixed! Destiny 2 is starting to turn into an irritatinmg to try and play game. If you want to keep your user baseI suggest you make it so that players can login and play the game!

I start getting contacting servers and then it crashes. Battle eye error says "Client not responding". Never had this issue before, did not install any new firewall or anti virus software. I have McAfee virus protection. PC/Steam.

Same here, got kickt many times trying to do a dungun solo . its getting even more often the last hour can't even go to the tower

I click play on steam, tries to load, and then steam acts like I never clicked play (shows the green play button). destiny2.exe failure upon trying to load happened once as well. Idk what you did bungie but these things I have never experienced before and would appreciate it if you fixed it <3 EDIT: your game just caused my pc to BSoD (blue screen of death). I take back the <3 emoji. I won't be touching your product until you fix it. this is unacceptable coming from a Triple A studio.

I'm getting plum as well. Game was working fine before server maintenance today. Now I can't even log in to the game. I get to the character select screen and get "contacting servers" at the bottom then when I select a character I get the plum error code. If I alt tab out I have an error message saying battleye client not responding. Idk what to do.

5 RepliesIf youre getting battle eye plum error. From the second you log in set a 10 minute timer. Usually that's just about when it crashes you. If it does than this fix usually works, not sure about console or Microsoft store but if you navigate to \steamapps\common\Destiny 2\battleye wherever its installed and use "uninstall battle eye". Do that, restart your computer, launch destiny 2 and it will ask you to reinstall battle eye. Click yes/accept. That has fixed plum for me 9/10ths of the time.

Same. After the maintenance all I'm getting is "BattlEye - Client not responding", followed by PLUM err code.

I run a g600 mouse as well. re-installed battleye and set an exception still getting plum and client not responding

17 RepliesHi there! Error Code PLUM is normally tied with an error code that comes from the BattlEye application directly. It normally appears as a separate pop-up window behind the game client. Do you happen to know what this error code stated?

Also getting PLUM, "Client not responding" and Weasel error codes every other match.

Same here. Got kicked out of dares of eternity with contacting servers then error code plum since an hour. Can't connect since then, always error code plum with client not responding. Got it the first time today and cant play now anymore...
