Getting error code CHICKEN
I was playing Shattered Throne with my friend around an hour ago when at the bottom right of my screen it started saying ''contacting destiny 2 servers''. After a few minutes the game crashed. When I try to open the game again it gives me error code CHICKEN. I tried the troubleshooting guides given in the Help.bungie.net but it still gives me the error.

My characters are still missing from the companion app, and I cannot access the game on any other platform. Yet all my friends seem to be able to get in fine. I hate to add fuel to the flame, but damn. I had plans to play with friends yesterday. It's beyond frustrating to know I missed out on activities I was really looking forward to and knowing I'm not going to be compensated for it. The Bungie Help Twitter has not updated in well over 14 hours to update players having this exact problem. At this point it genuinely feels like they don't care enough about this problem because it doesn't affect the majority of the player base; we're the outlier that can't be bothered with until the maintenance later today lmao. Will I keep playing? Probably. But I've never felt so betrayed by something I've sunk a bunch of time and effort into like this, and don't understand how "background maintenance" could fk up my account so badly. I've been a Destiny player since the D1 Beta. My disappointment is astronomical and I'm reminded why I keep taking extended breaks from this game.

I tried to log in on 04/24/2023 at about 2 pm EDT and had a chicken code. I tried to log in right now 04/25/2023 11:20 am EDT and still have a chicken code. I reset my internet router and modem and cleared the download cache, but still nothing. This game is pretty much a pay-to-play game and constantly having those kind of problems? How are they going to compensate our time and money we waste?

Me too with the chicken code going on 2 days . Now I'm getting withdrawals from not being able to play . This is ridiculous .

Any Idea on the EST of the resolution of the Chicken Problem. The last update on Your part Bungie was 13 hrs ago and the problem is still preventing us from playing. An update would be greatly appreciated Thanks

I am also having this problem. Some of my friends are able to log in but are having issues being kicked from activities or returned to the title screen.

It’s refreshing to see that the hours of hard work have paid off. Still no character showing on the app and chicken trying to log in. Epic fail on this one.

Have not been able to log in since 430 pm est yesterday. Constant chicken errors, cannot even make it to character select screen. Am sad :(

Can’t log in my account on either PC or ps5. And now it says I have no character’s on my profile & my guardian rank is reset. Did Bungie just delete my character?

I've been having the same issues, however it's isolated to my main account, my alt account with no Guardians is still able to log in and play no problems. It's very frustrating
