There's a chance for it to occur every hour between :45 and :15. Terminal Overload suppresses all other public events so I never bother checking when those overlap in the same region. Bungie hasn't announced a fix for the issue causing PS5 crashes yet.

I have stated before. They should have more events like this, but do a global announcement. "///ALERT ///ALERT: --- Distress signal incoming. All avaialble guardians are requested to report to *Destination* *Location*, enemy forces launching an offensive, we have to hold the line!" This is accompanied by a sound effect and the message plays down above your health bar. This occurs 15 minutes before an event goes live. You hear whoever the local vendor is when you arrive on site reporting on how long until the event goes live. For example incursion. You arrive in Neomuna and drop in. You hear Nimbus "Oh Guardian you have no IDEA how glad I am you're here. There's an incoming incursion in *x*, I'm trying to keep them locked down but they're tunneling around my firewalls as fast as I can throw them up. This is a DEDICATED ATTACK, what ever it is they're after, they can't get it. Please go to that area and await further instructions, hopefully you won't have to go it alone this time, but I gotta stay here and slow them down as much as I can." 10 minutes: "I can't hod them much longer, there's someone else coming right? Right?! The network IDs are showing some massive transfers here, you don't want to do this alone!" 5 minutes: come on come on COME ON! Isn't anyone else coming?! They've shut down the last of my defennces, ready or not, here they come in Three, Two, O- *static* *Event goes live* You could do this with Failsafe on Nessus, Devrim in the EDZ, you probably need to skip the cosmodrome, that said giving new lights a peek at the powers they will wield in time might be a good motivator even if they get wrecked. Forget the dumb public event system they have now, create actual, real, world events. 15 minutes is enough time to finish most events so most players won't have to exit out of active events, except for raids, dungeons, etc, which most people aren't going to leave those events unless it's a consensus anyway. The problem with current public events is that they aren't just unrewarding, they feel dead. Unreal. It's just another way that destiny does not feel like a living world, it FEELS like just something scheduled to take place at certain times, no one calls for help, you're just there or you aren't. Destiny will never be an mmo no matter what certain deeply deluded people want to believe. This is not an MMO, and it nevr will be using an obsolete system like what is in use today. Hell, instead of weakly rotators of "what is worth doing this week" they could have surges to specific events "go do this for bonuses." but no...

Completed it once, several other attempts crashed my ps5. Saw it yesterday with several players and it bugged out on the final encounter, none of the glowing enemies spawned to get the beams for the boss shields so it couldn't be finished. Whole concept is a dud.

Done it 4 times, crashed the first two times, no people for the third time so it timed out, and the only time I completed I got aeon grips (such a waste of time).

All neomuna activities take a long time to do. Vex Force people tend to join at phase 2. Yes the spawn rate sucks. In the end, you're better off farming lost sectors for now. 5-9 min each, if you wait for the short masters it's a fairly good farm. Just make sure you're using a discipline ghost.

Most people don’t like going to Neomuna. I personally don’t. And it is very hard to get the event to spawn especially with other players around to help complete it.

It reminds me of good ol escalation protocol. In its beginning. Joined it three times so far and couldn't finish it a single time. Either alone or max one or two other players present. You see the timer running out and know you can't make it. I believe 5-6 players were required minimum to have a realistic chance. But - who cares.

I would say it’s a myth but I did finally encounter it, only for there to be a bug where it didn’t spawn the enemies that drop the craniums for one of the sets of minotaurs. So we couldn’t beat it. Then I heard the chest spawn noise but it was nowhere to be found and there was no marker for it.

Completed it once. Got a 45 roll on something that ended up being instantly infused into something else.
