They are no lifers who drain the fun outta everything haha. Dude was like we have to run the optimal dps if your a warlock you have to run starfire. Gosh dude had a ego problem. Over compensation for something small he’s hiding haha.

Edited by boi: 4/21/2023 10:08:51 PMRanks don’t mean anything other than game experience

I can't imagine ppl acting all high and mighty because they're rank 11, tbh that doesn't mean your good that just means you would do anything to no life a game for a fictional number that doesn't even mean anything. Are you gonna put I'm a rank 11 guardian in destiny on your resume or something. I'm sorry if that sounds mean but I just can't with ppl who play this game sometimes. And don't say well you're just jealous because you can't even get past rank 8, no I can't get past rank 8 because I know it doesn't mean anything whatsoever. You can have a God tier pve player be rank 7 all for all I know all because he doesn't care for the system, it's a fictional number I don't know why bungie ever added it. Just to clarify I'm agreeing with you those ppl just try to act all tough when in reality they probably aren't. Probably know much more about the game than they do the real world.

I kicked a guy from a nightfall because he kept telling me what I should be using

4 RepliesI am a rank 11 too. I never tell others what to use. Because games are about what YOU want to do. I only tell others easier ways to do raid encounters or tell them what is good against certain bosses. No one should tell others what they should use. I ran a nazareck run with multiple starfire rocket locks while i used osteo and a nade launcher...yet i outdamaged all their OPTIMAL DPS builds by about 1.5 million and i never used my super. So i just use what i like.

Lol looking at your characters they all lower power I would tell u to use best dps options to or get out because at that power if your not your a hinderance. Also were you leader of group if not then maybe go make your own group and u can run it how u want
-
2 RepliesI’m just gonna presume any guardian who has a guardian rank at 9 or above needs to go outside. Or maybe just 10 or 11. I haven’t really checked what’s needed to hit rank 9 since I don’t care.
-
Way too much is being made about rank 11. It is an auto complete for even casual endgamers lol and it doesn’t even include PVP
-
Edited by Ray: 4/21/2023 3:41:48 PMIf we’re doing high level end game (master raids/dungeons or GMs), and you’re not running an optimal build, then damn right I’ll tell you to put an optimal build on You get one try and if you’re -blam!- up with the build you’re using, you’re out 🤷🏾♂️ Any other content is fine. Idc for that

Not very hard to find a player with a inflated ego in Destiny.
-
2 RepliesGuardian Rank 11 isn't hard to obtain.... Complaining about the requirements is comical. Boasting about having it is comical. Placing value on it is also comical.

Cool you found an ego guardian but not every rank 11 is the same SMH. They have always been these kind of players before this rank stuff. No don't go around thinking all rank 11 guardians are the same.
-
If you are not optimizing dps you are wasting my time , and if we don't 1 phase and I see your crap damage, I am kicking you and finding someone better before the next encounter Same goes for ad clear pototatoes with low kill counts Jk, no life tryhards like that ruin the atmosphere, and I don't raid with them either , I don't care what you use has long has we clear the encounter , want to run hier apperant for DPS, whatever works for you
-
Back when I sherpa’d raids in D1, I totally did not care what loadout anyone used. Fist of Panic? Go for it. Third Man Golden Gun? Have fun! The only thing I cared about was mechanics. If you can get to where ever to do whatever in the time it required, that’s all that mattered.

14 RepliesNo need to be rank 11 to be such an as*hole dont worry. I see many players like that even at rank 8. I iust kick them if they start telling people what to use in a normal raid
-
Ah yes. Take the behavior of one individual and apply it to other people who happen to have the.....same rank.....in a video game..... and imply they have small peens because they play a video game. That's the totally normal, intelligent thing to do.
-
Yeah, imagine having job and not wanting to waste your precious time, such losers

Edited by intimo74: 4/20/2023 7:21:47 PMI love Destiny 2 despite its massive flaws, but it will be the last of its kind I will ever play because I have zero patience for a-holes and their inflated egos and the tiny e-pees that go along with it ha.

5 RepliesMe and my other 11 friend told a Nightstalker to run Spectral Blades the other night when he asked which Tether to run for Nezarec Optimal setups only
-
Yeah they either help or hurt the team, very little in between for higher ranks.
-
I ran with one and it was amazing, some peeps were new and he literally soloed the planets part of planets which was like holy -blam!-, and then for nez challenge he taught some peeps how to run and stuff

3 RepliesThat dude needs professional help.

1 ReplyGuardian ranks are simply there to serve as a guide for new lights who are playing solo. Every rank above rank six is just a pointless flex.
-
Nuff said

6 RepliesI mean running optimal loadouts is preferred so you can get through the content quicker. Obviously if you enjoy struggling and doing things slower than go for it, but personally I'd prefer teammates with decent load outs lol. I only play an hour or so a day though so it might just be me wanting to make the most of my time.
