The fact that Mobility, Resilience, and Recovery stats are tied to class abilities and some stat mods are more expensive than others seems like a class nerf

If I as a Warlock or Titan wanna just build for rift or barricade support I actually have to sacrifice more than a hunter could for the same build towards the dodge. Class abilities are already balanced in a way that appropriately regulated their usage so why do resilience and Recovery mods cost more? Either all stat mods need to be 1-3 energy cost or class ability stats need to be independent stats again

  • Yeah, it's because Resilience is the best stat in the game and Recovery is great too. Both affect your combat uptime. Mobility increases Strafe Speed and initial jump height, and is nowhere near as valuable as the other two. If it didn't affect the cooldown for Dodge, I don't think any Hunter would even invest in it

    • To be fair Resilience is quite potent and so is recovery. Not to mention Titans and Warlocks don't even need to bother putting anything into mobility. While hunters want some of all 3

      • Recov and resil are also USEFULL STATS. Mobility is 100% a useless stat.

        • They need to remove tying class cooldowns to stats. They just need to decide what is each class cooldowns most balanced time and and let it be that.

        • Warlock mains will find a way to whine about literally everything, while having the best PvE kits by a country mile, with a straight face. Absolutely wild.

          • My solution: tie all class abilities to the intellect stat. Unrelated, but something else I'd like: let us select mob, resilience, & recovery base amounts in our subclass menus with the option to use mods to enhance them further.

              • … stats have their own function besides class ability. Resilience for titan barricades as well as flinch and pve damage resistance up to 30% and I think it adds a couple points of health. Recovery reduces rift cooldown and reduces the time it takes to start healing. Mobility for hunter dodge and it affects max non sprint speed and base jump height. It also affects aim down sight strafe speed. I would say a permanent damage reduction and healing have far more than non sprint speeds and a base jump height.
