for 8 years I played Destiny never got such a problem with audio issue! on xbox doesn't help disable Windows Sonic, still distorted sound ! let me get is it only for console players such a aweful audio?
-
This whole game is falling apart at the very seams.
-
I spotted that too. I thought my headphones had developed a fault but it appeared after the mid season patch. Tried another game and no issue with the headphones.
-
No audio issues here.

3d audio off on console I hear works. What worked for me on pc I turned spatial audio on in my advanced sound setting on pc. On the actual pc not in game. Seems to have solved the problem for now.

Audio is terrible for me now and the server has been terrible also... haha I won't even talk about trying to complete this weeks NF ( I even like it to :)

Alas, tis a foul malevolent wrath doth sneak into thy innocent ears Nay my brother, thou lookth no further then thy fiendish updating.

So it’s not just me. Oh good. I was hoping my headset wasn’t going out. At times it sounded like the audio was slowing down too.
-
Im on PC and this is all f****** up. Cant even hear when teammates die, or stun champions etc. cant hear enemies doing anything. I went to stock vanilla “im a poor boy” sound settings and it didn’t change a thing. Turned game music off, still all messed up. And sometimes I swear I hear a matrix noises.

Bungie on Reddit said to turn off 3D audio on PS5, but it did basically nothing. Audio sounds like low bitrate MP3 with spatial issues. How the hell do you mess all this up and let it go in the patch?
-
Thought it was my headset I mean pretty soon we will be playing in black and white TV style we are definitely in a recession I mean regression.

So the issue is reminds me of a cup to audio memory leak I used to hear on p.c. games. It was usually caused when drivers for one chip incidentally made their way into the wrong place. I.e. Nvidia callouts on and chips or realtek vs stock and board sets. As the kids at Bungie appear to focus P.C. Nvidia like most college kids because it's "cool" rather than stable I expect there was more P.C. love/console hate coding going on which led to this. F.Y.I consoles use A.M.D. not only for the price point but because it's stable. Nvidia has had memory leaks since 2k, and as far as I know have not really been addressed, rather worked around. This means A.M.D. friendly coding will work on Nvidia, but Nvidia code slip ins will create memory leaks on A.M.D. Can we get some A.M.D. driver calls properly coded please? I mean I know it's not "cool" and all, but it actually works most of the time, and gives the added bonus of not giving p.c. players unfair advantage. Ell the ability to reduce or adjust particle effects would be a godsend.

Mine was good until I did the new mission.

2 RepliesSame when I play PvP. PvE was okay.

1 ReplyIt's so disorienting and occurs so often during PvP engagements that I'd as soon mute my game as have to hear that

There was me thinking my £350 SteelSeries were knackered !!!

The audio is so monstrously diabolical that it even messed with my chat audio in a playstation party. As soon as I went on another game, chat audio cleaned up again.
-
Audio issues also, dialogue sounds muffled and don't get me started on combat. I was worried there was an issue with my system. I'm on PC btw.
-
It’s the game?? There I am thinking my headsets tweaking out.

Good, huh?
