As the post says I feel like they kinda deserve to have them

Also Exotic armor should have 2 additional slots I mean it is an "exotic " armor that you get from doing legendary or master lost sectors

11 RepliesEdited by Spawn: 4/18/2023 12:46:43 AMIMO - it’s time for Grandmaster Strikes to get their own unique Armor Sets annually, just like Trials.
-
1 ReplyI used to be against artifice armor coming from the trials flawless chest because it would devalue master dungeons but now I see trials needs artifice armor because the population is garbage because none of the weapons are goon in pve
-
Exotic armour should give plus 5 to all stats when master worked instead of 2
-
No idea But side note.... We need heavy metal remixes for all the end level boss music similar to the GM version of devils lair at sepiks.
-
Don’t worry, Bungie’s so out of ideas and so unwilling to commit $ to create content that they’ll make artifice gear drop from master activities the cornerstone content of a future season. Because they… reflected, and heard your feedback. Rocket science levels, billions invested and the best talents. 🥱

3 RepliesEdited by Sen: 4/17/2023 9:31:55 PMAlso why aren't ALL dungeon guns craftable? Dungeons also should have a vendor at the boss. And they should increase spoil cap and change the name too to fit the dungeons.
-
12 RepliesEdited by Olórin: 4/18/2023 1:31:52 PMAs well as that, Master Raid and Trials Flawless Artifice armour pieces should glow when you masterwork them, indefinitely. Oh and every drop has to be at least 65+ stat total.

As the post says I feel like they kinda deserve to have them
Because dungeons are also sold separately. They need something “exclusive” loot (other than the exotic weapon) to have some appeal. If you get artificer armor ONLY buying the dungeon..that’s the selling point. Btw : once you get One set of good artificer armor you’re done. All additional pieces from a master dungeon will become useless so….

Edited by Crota bin Oryx: 4/18/2023 3:28:41 PMIf a master dungeon could guarantee a shard drop at the end they would be worth the time at this stage. I mean the loot once you have all the collectibles is pretty redundant right?
-
16 RepliesId say because master dungeons are easier to do than GM's, flawless and master raid challenges. Also because you can easily farm a master dungeon encounter. They already said they didnt wanted adept weapons to be easily accessible and everywhere in the game. As for artifice armors in trials, yes sure why not.

Edited by Stark: 4/18/2023 2:09:32 PMGood question. *Looks at Bungie*

2 RepliesAll that requires work and effort. Bungie let that ship sail after the Activision split. Now no one in that studio is held accountable for poor development and decision making. Hence....contacting destiny 2 servers all the -blam!- time now.
-
So they can add them later and call it "content".

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - old
Because playing Destiny 2 isn’t like being a hamster 🐹 on a wheel. It’s like being a hamster that needs to run on multiple wheels. It’s how they keep multiple activities ‘relevant’. I don’t like it. -
They want them to be more special. They also want you to have a reason to do them. If one could give both then what would be the point of the others ? Why do raid for Adepts when you could just do a dungeon ? Sure the weapons are different, but you know what isn't ? Artifice armor. This is the one unique thing a bout them. You would have no reason to do Master dungeons if you could get both Adept weapons and Artifice armor from a Master raid.
-
Because they want you to play more
-
Also, remove bunk perks from adept weapons. Was bummed to get a 4/5 Rufus roll because Harmony is trash on a primary

Edited by Sen: 4/18/2023 12:09:27 AMI think this would be a good change. And with that, Bungie could also tune activity rewards even further if they see that other content is being devalued. It's up to Bungie to add value. And if Master Dungeons are lacking, then grant materials on encounter completion. We get limited tries anyway. So add golf balls, prisms and that stuff to actual ENCOUNTER rewards as well as the regular rewards. I also think that there should be double chests for doing it on master and have it also be independent from non master. If people want to go ABSOLUTELY NUTS, let them. It won't hurt. And with the changes to target farming exotics and how expensive they will be, this is a perfect way to have players engage with the harder content and add value to ALL master things. Adding materials for completion for everything would make this game better. Especially for newer players. Add glimmer on encounter completion too! Because the loot doesn't stop at guns or armor, it applies to materials as well! And that applies to NON master as well. Materials for those as well. Less likely to get Ascendant Shards and Alloy, but still worth something. Also now that I think of it, make it so we can just farm for materials from encounters. Infinite tries for materials only. But we can't just do the same encounter. No. We actually have to complete the entire thing for us to be able to reset each encounter that we've done already.

To keep user populations up. I had only focused on raising light to max, then getting adept weapons... I'm finally at a spot wondering why my armor sucks and it's because I haven't been doing master dungeons, ugh. Guess I'll spend best season farming lost sectors, Grasp, and Duality to try to get 3 100s.
-
For the Raid armor, the reason Bungie gives is because the raid mod slot is using the same slot Artifice would as far as the game knows/checks. As for why Master Dungeons don't have Adept weapons, probably to push people to master raids/GMs.

Variety.

Edited by Chucky: 4/17/2023 9:05:19 PMI liked raid armour that has perks with the raid in mind, but also can be proc outside the raid, a dull example would be VoG armour having crit kills on vex generate orbs. We currently have a mod system that does this but it’s cool to have unique perks to take elsewhere in the game.
-
2 RepliesThey do this so you have a reason to farm master dungeons. That’s all master dungeons have to offer. I wouldn’t run a single master dungeon if I could just do trials for artifice lol

Because different things drop different stuff?
