No mic?! Raid with no chat!
I have joined maybe a dozen lfg raid groups today. Raging from teaching to kwtd’s. Raid were kings fall and votd. Every single one of the raid groups had 6 players including me but NO ONE TALKED! What’s going on?!

Thought I’d give my results from today! I did a votd with 4 people running it for the first time and one teaching. It was a fantastic experience and just reminded me how good destiny can be. 6 people working together to overcome challenges. Whether a raid group talks a lot or doesn’t or isn’t able to at all isn’t necessarily the point or important. But to agree on what is being done, have a plan and executing. That’s what didn’t happen yday and what did happen today. Thanks for all the feedback everyone!

There really isn’t much talking needed. You just need to call out the symbols in votd and the plates in kings fall, both of which you can even do over text chat if you want. Obviously it’ll be easier over voice but not required

That's because you can do RON with only 1 or 2 people knowing what to do And less knowledgeable guardians thinks all raids are that easy apperantly -
I just did that the other day. Lfg was asking for 1, add clear, no mic. I had a great time.

I don’t understand the problem, don’t you do all your raids no comms? As long as the entire team has double primaries and mismatching exotics, everything should go smoothly.

1 ReplyMy first KF in D1 was with a mute/deaf group. I was taught everything in last 2 counters (sister and oryx) on xb text chat. Some team members were mute some were deaf. We cleared it eventually. I don't think streaming and content were that big back then (early days) or I wasn't much in watching videos. It was still OK to learn if I could be ar£ed. I've heard that RoN is pretty easy if 2 people kwtd and rest just dps and ad clear. So, there's not much to talk about, maybe 🤷♂️
