3 RepliesThank everyone running around with their Silver-Only cosmetics. If people stopped mindlessly throwing money at BungLe for doing and fixing nothing, they'd be forced to make an effort. As is, they make millions a year doing damned near nothing.

6 RepliesI don't know how they are not ashamed of releasing a game in such a sorry state while attaching to it such an expensive price tag. Every day there is something that is not working. I tried to play a few crucible matches and I keep getting kicked out mid match by "contacting Destiny servers". And then getting the warning message "Oops, you left a crucible match...", or the error message "Check your network...". Which is super-annoying and stupid, cause it's not my fault that Destiny has such a crappy server connection! This game has gone from being awesome to being utter trash. And I am not going to apologize for saying that. Cause it's the truth.

8 RepliesWhat did you expect from a business that uses an outdated engine from 2001?

5 RepliesThe game has been out since what, 2017? That's enough time for one of us to go learn to program, get a job in game development, work up our problem-solving skills, apply at Bungie, get hired at Bungie, fix the damn game, and make off with all the money. Yet, here we are...

Game is complete dog shat. The MM in Trials is horrible and even getting a full team without a disconnect is impossible.
-
We haven’t had the same level of bad as last season. Not yet.
-
Probably the servers burning right this moment ... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
-
Even mobile phone games hold up better than this 😂

2 RepliesI really gotta agree with the author its been nothing but trouble since the end of last season and the beginning of this season its got so severe that im gonna quit this game if there are no improvements very soon. I ve made a post Thursday on the lag outs i had and got good feedback on that from fellow destiny players but that was not the problem because i have the same problems again today constant plum messages and more. I doesnt just affect me but my team members as well if i lag out when we nearly finish a gm. I dont know if bungie reads this as well but i hope so. I ve been playing this game a long time but like this its not gonna last. Signed a very frustrated destiny player

2 RepliesI do crucible and gambit for prime engrams, then I wait for next week and repeat. Once I max my light level I'll wait for next season. This game has become a real dumpster fire.

Bungie is a small company and they cannot afford an upgrade to their team and servers.
-
1 ReplyYep I have zero motivation to get on the game and grind boring stuff.
-
1 ReplyWhat did you expect from the beta build of the game ??? Jeez this community

6 RepliesPlayed two battlegrounds recently and half the enemies had a hunter invisibility thing going on, thought it was cool at first, enemies getting a upgrade but no! Just glitches.
-
It is embarrassingly bad right now.

Edited by solidGERMAN: 4/15/2023 5:06:53 AMHere's some tragic bugs/poor quality control. In hypernet current if you die at the final boss your ghost can go undergroind making rez impossible. On the sparrow part if teamate dies you cannot go back and rez till you progress on foot battling multiple champions solo. I understand discipline for dying but is this a racing game or a combat focused game? Why make the sparrow part so punishing? Inthe lake of shadows if you wipe on the nightfall at final boss champions spawn and you are unable to kill them therefore making the nightfall pointless as you cannot get platinum. Not much of a problem for me as gm is out now but for those that don't do gm this is a serious issue.

I really think it's because of the code and engine it's based off. There are currently too many "moving parts" for it to handle is my hypothesis. Too many subtle nuances that can cause a system wide issue. Tldr: out dated platform attempts to stay current.

Have never been more irritated in my life when it comes to destiny servers shutting down this badly. But it keeps on persisting so much that makes it nearly impossible to just play now. Myself in (USMC) clan & (7th Calvary) we were doing Root of Nightmares Raid. Went smoothly without any problems that we be kicking A#%?! But then during the 3rd encounter it started to go haywire with “Destiny Serves” kicked us out of the game, then a full throttle in waiting and after that it persisted a few minutes later. We literally postponed the raid because of it. Bungie NEEDS TO SERIOUSLY get their S#?$! In check because is effecting casual player and hard-core as well. If this keeps up im actually gonna give up playing destiny for the remainder of the season and the next one coming up.

Don’t you like: weasel, weasel, weasel, weasel, bee, be, weasel, Contacting Destiny Serves, weasel, bee, orbit, rejoin, weasel?
-
Yup game still crashes on vex strike force.

Literally just got kicked right at the GM boss, Bungie why man 😧

4 RepliesEdited by xStopShootinMe: 4/15/2023 9:58:11 PMWe have always had some error code issues, but jeez I can't even farm glimmer in public events without getting kicked, much less attempt GM's this week. I got error code bee twice about 60 seconds apart. Before that I got groundhog, before that anteater. Come on Bungie let's go, I finally got time to play let's get this stuff fixed please and thank you 👍

3 RepliesNot just 1, 1000+ Weasel disconnections at the time....nice work... Yesterday and today....been kicked out mid trials thx

Contacting D2 servers, kicked, put in a que, log in, Contacting servers, kicked, put in a que...rinse and repeat. Got kicked half way through a raid, no one could log back on so turned the game off. Great way to attract new players Bungie, come and play destiny...if you can stay logged on for long enough!! Advice- fix your game and fix your engine.

29 RepliesIt's not a lack of quality control, it's the engine. You have to realize this is an engine from back in the Halo days, before even 2004. It's overloaded and can't handle all this. Hence why there is an Unreal 4, 5, etc. Unreal/Epic realizes when it is time they have to create a brand new engine cause they are at the limits of the current. Also hence there being 4-5 different Unreal Engines in the time that the one Tiger engine has existed. You can blame Actvision for this actually. In the original contract Bungie was forced to use an inhouse and owned engine, AND meet the 2014 D1 deadline AND lost their lead story writer last minute. Come D2, this contract was still active and Bungie had to use Tiger again cause there was no time to make a new game AND a new engine, then teach everyone that new engine. But then again, you can blame Bungie for this for not making a Destiny 3 with a new engine and continuing D2 with an engine that existed before YouTube. You can upgrade an engine only so much till it's hitting it's overall threshold.
