Ive been playing since early destiny 1 and never understood why drop rates for dlc raids were always so low. we already paid for the additional content I shouldn't have to clear a boss 50+ times for a gun. I get not making it 100% but 3% on an activity you cannot farm is getting old.

Based on what was mentioned toward the end of Reflecting on Lightfall: Launch and Beyond it sounds as though the devs plan on either adding Exotic drop boosting Triumphs to older Raids or perhaps retroactively adding such bonuses to existing Triumphs (emphasis added):
MORE TO COME We also have several more updates we think you’ll love coming in Season 21, but we’re saving the details for when we’re closer to the reveal of the Season. Here’s a preview of a few: • We’re upgrading more than 15 of our lower-performing Exotic armors and rolling out balance changes to several others. • We’ll have some exciting news for players who enjoy improving their raid and dungeon Exotic drop chances through Triumphs. • We’re taking a pass at team-unfriendly Vanguard bounties requiring specific weapon or ability kills, and more.
(΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

5 Replies"MMO looter shooter" what do u expect lol to just have everything handed to you?

6 RepliesIf somehow you lucky enough to get the weapon to drop wouldnt you want it a low drop rate chance, then your unique not everyone would have it? wouldnt be so unique if everyone was using it would it? i have touch of malice, vex myhoclast and the new shotty from root of nightmares, guess am lucky and i guess your unlucky, but to raise the drop chance for all these weapons would make them less unique and desirable.

3 RepliesBecause Bungie excepts you to spend the rest of your life playing Raids trying to get them.

So they feel amazing when you get yours. I ran Kingsfall over forty times and it was special, I got conditional finality my fifth RoN and it was also amazing. Like I am probably leaving my dying clan to join the people I ram with then inviting my friends in current clan to join me.

15 RepliesSo you keep playing. Everything Bungie have done this expansion is to make things take longer. Dop rates are low so you keep coming back and grinding out that content. The only raid that Bungie has offically stated that has a pity drop system in Deep Stone Crypt. Each run gives you an unspecified increased chance of dropping eyes. Simple addiction strategy from the game makers. Treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen

As I understand, raiding has a smaller population in general. What better way to keep them active than a low drop exotic? Then there’s things like full runs compared to boss checkpoints, and now more triumphs to up chances

5 RepliesEdited by CozMcKilljoy: 4/13/2023 6:14:29 AMI just completed my 85th clear of Kings Fall and still do not have Touch of Malice. This is absurd. Here is what I have noticed. One raid I will acquire the exotic quickly, the next I will go for an extended time and not get it. I wish there was some kind of Loot protection in these raids.

4 RepliesEdited by CUROCH: 4/12/2023 1:34:13 AMIf you want the shotgun then do the triumphs for the raid. It dropped for me today on my 16th clear. I had 4 of the exotic boost triumphs done. Other than that it is RNG.
