No intro... I'm just gonna get right into it, I'll opine along the way 🤓.
Strand Obviously, the goal IS destroy everything, there's no hyperbolics... this is the strongest PvE kit in the game right now.
Rally Barricade... for the superior regen, but also we don't have space for the reload frag unless you want shorter buffs, so you're going to be using it to help with your reloads. Shackle Nade for Suspend. The melee is horrible... I'm still going to be using Heavy Handed for orbs but I'm just using the system, not the melee itself... I'll explain later.
Aspect - Into the Fray states... Destroying a tangle or casting your super grants woven mail for everyone. When woven mail is active get increased melee regen... but who cares.
Aspect - Drengr's Lash states ... Activate your class ability (rally) to suspend & dmg targets. Note: A single wave can suspend/dmg multiple targets like the shackle nade when they're clustered
Both of these aspects synergize beautiful with the exotic, Abeyant Leap - Drengr's Lash now has 3 waves & they track further and more aggressively + gain woven mail while suspending targets... that's any suspension btw, not just from your barricade... you're hopefully going to see all the layers of stacking redundancy as I continue...
Fragments; speaking to regen stacking, redundancy and maximum ability and overall uptime.
Thread of Mind - Defeating suspended targets grants class ability energy ... this is essentially the core, starting with a single regen loop... rally to suspend, suspend to rally with the superior efficacy of our boots that adds unlimited woven mail for free
Thread of Generation - Dmg'ing targets gives nade regen -10 discipline... if you're using Shackle nades, you're using this. It adds to the suspend loop, further fuels regens of all types.
Thread of Transmutation - While you have woven mail, "ANY" weapon kills can produce tangles, this allows me to use any weapons but especially void as you'll see why... I want to buff my team & I with woven mail as much as possible... and [Into the Fray] does that when I destroy a tangle. This aspect let's all my weapons create tangles and more of them, and I want that.
Thread of Continuity - all strand timer-based buffs/debuffs are increased + 10 Str (Note: you could swap this for the nade reload frag,or create almost 2 identical loadouts and then just hot swap for boss dps). Speculative: though not listed I think it increases the duration tangles will remain too.
The Mods (You wanna know my secret... maybe he's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline). Without auto collection for charges, investing in time sensitive mod effects is dubious... the actual uptime gained under MOST circumstances is nominal right now. Don't get triggered... it's just mathematics. Under ideal circumstances, yeah... they're great - but I want max uptime, this how you get there.
Class item: 2 reaper mods... we're using our rally to fight, spamming it as much as possible... and we're working off those orbs for regen... reaper combined with heavy handed & firepower and dual siphon... means whatever 🙄 the game decides the dmg is the enemies die too, I make orbs.
* Aside* Speaking to orb production, there's alot of confusion and conflicts with these systems, sometimes you can lose regen effects and orb production, by just doing things in the wrong order. One simple example: my weapons inflict sever, I debuff an enemy... then kill it with my melee... no orb even though I have heavy handed, why? It was considered a weapon kill because the enemy was debuffed before you killed it. Sometimes there's an order to it, sometimes it seems random.
This mod set will maximize your orb production, ability & super regen while avoiding those scripting conflicts that might mess with your mojo, because you want consistency and predictability in order to master these looping mechanics and maximize your efficacy and uptime.
Class item: 2 Reaper mods, 1 Bolstering Detonation - gain grenade energy when using my Rally barricade.
Boots: Stacks on Stacks, for extra charges. Better Already... start recovery when you pick up orbs Or Void Scavenger. Absolution - orbs regen any and all abilities.
Chest: Solar resist or the threat burn applicable. Sniper resist, which could be swapped for Concussive/ Stacking or Splitting Elemental resist, but I think... since you'll have woven mail most of the time, best resist in slot is probably Sniper resist... obviously use the resist mods to fit with what you're doing. Then ER or Emergency Reinforcement... if the activity doesn't have 1shot enemies... you don't need this, you might lose ER for Utility Kickstart... something like that.
Gloves: Firepower - orbs from nade dmg'd killed enemies, Heavy Handed - orbs from melee'd dmg'd/tagged enemies that die (again to avoid regen and orb production conflicts I just cover every possible dmg tag source). Bolstering Detonation - grants class ability energy when I dmg an enemy with a grenade.
Helmet: Special Ammo Finder, Dynamo - Super when using my class ability, and since I'm using it to fight... gonna do work. You could switch this with Heavy finder too. Then Void/Strand dual siphon... multi-kills with either elemental weapon types produce orbs.
ARTIFACT (I'll post a follow-up Tldr comment that skips all the explanation, I know this is a lot to probably take in, or maybe you just want a list).
Barrier Pulse, Overload Bow, Overload AR/SMG
Volatile Flow, void weapons get volatile rnds when you pick up an orb
Untangler, destroying a tangle suspends enemies... which all our weapons create, because of Thread of Transmutation... it gives us and all our allies woven mail... that in turn keeps that loop going. Destroy tangle to get Woven Mail and make more tangles... an infinite loop. Outside of the tangle cooldown... everything that dies will produce a tangle - weapon, abilities, or super.
Void mod reduction, nade mod reduction, dual siphon mods (use the ones that fit your stat priorities and kits the most)
Allied Unraveling - this applies unraveling rnds to enemies with sustained strand weapon dmg, it debuffs and creates a tangle when they die, the effect lasts longer when allies are near. More ways to increase our tangle production and a minor buff to those strand weapons overall dmg. However, this is one of those mods... that can mess with death tags and what they count towards... so if you're having any issues or can't replicate this kit exactly, and orbs and regen aren't happening like you think they should... just respec without Allied Unraveling and use something else.
Bricks from Beyond - Heavy from void weapons kills... this why no one should really need heavy finder, why I can optimize my super regen with Dynamo. If you don't have void weapons, obviously you'd respec, use a Heavy Finder or have someone on Aeon's.
Threaded Blast - Tangles that explode do significantly more dmg in a greater area. All those tangles we're creating... I forgot to mention it; this kit has Warmind Cells 😋. And all those kills and suspended targets further loop all the regen for ability spam, woven mail spam for you and allies... super regen spam. Tangle/Warmind Cell spam... Everything Spam flavored.
Counterweave - When you or a teammate stuns a champion you get ability regen - so that's another level.
How do you like your spam? Lol.
All this adds up to the strongest PvE kit in the entire game... situationally you might need a lock... or need this; but overall... by the numbers, nothing beats this. An optimized Titan Abeyant Leap kit, is the strongest PvE build in the game.
And this was it? Any questions, or comments are welcome 😇👍💠.
Inspect my Titan, I'll be using it all night.. probably. Obviously, a great stat split will really elevate these ideas, this kit... Starting with mobility... I'm 22, 100, 50, 100, 30, 71. Stat priorities are Resilience and Discipline of which I got to tier 10. If I could flip Str w Int, I would... but still an optimal, though not perfect, split.

If you're struggling with Mars BG, use this kit, or any strand suspend spam.

The final Titan kit I'll be doin, then 4 for Warlocks, 3 for Hunters... might have to wait until next week, because I'll be farming GMs all weekend, anywho... the void Titan kit: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/262721788?sort=0&page=0

Update: This kit is virtually unplayable current because 'into the fray' aspect is bugged. It will frequently give woven mail to suspended enemies. It can happen anywhere, but it's like a 90% chance on Nenomuna. Tldr, if you're gonna run this kit, wait until they fix it...or don't use it on Nenomuna.

Swap transmutation for the one that severs targets when you land rapid crits. I believe sever is 50% reduction in damage output. You have such high ability uptime that you don’t need your guns making tangles.

4 RepliesStrands goal isn't to destroy everything. All the good builds rely entirely on suspend. Anything happens to suspend and strand is dead.
-
2 RepliesI doubt it’ll get nerfed since it’s only an issue in PvE. But you can’t lie, spamming barricades for grapple chaining and woven mail is a little busted right now.

https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/262709394?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1 A follow-up to this post about Titans and their armor exotic advantages. I'll be posting multiple Titan loadouts and I'll link them all together to try and keep them in the feed as long as possible. I'm going to do each class, a few per.

This is pretty much the same build I’m running, right down to the weapons (except I’m using the immortal smg with threat detector/hatchling). The other major change between our builds is that I’m using grapple for movement (tangles and grapples are a great retreat option), as you already suspend enough with the exotic and drengrs lash. Other than a few different mod and fragment choices, we pretty much have the same build. Sadly though, this is really the only viable strand titan build (outside of hoil spamming). Hopefully, we get more strand based exotics in the next few seasons and that the new aspect would be a solid option.

Please just use a DIM build link to save all of this typing.
