FPS and stuttering
Right away after entering IB I get FPS drops and extreme stuttering. Tried other activities and it’s the same issue every where in the game.
Thought it would clear up soon, but it’s a constant issue and no one from bungie has addressed it

2 RepliesOn my end, the performance issues started up shortly into the season and became very noticeable during the first week of Iron Banner. The FPS issues seemed to permeate other areas of the game and there hasn’t been a fix for me until I stumbled upon swapping from Full Screen to Windowed Fullscreen. My PC’s specs: GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700K Memory: 64 GB RAM (63.77 GB RAM usable) Current resolution: 2560 x 1440, 144Hz Operating system: Windows 10 Actively choosing not to play in Full Screen has somehow eliminated the problem. I can’t answer why, but on my new PC I figured D2 would be the last game to cause any issues or have performance hiccups, alas here we are and I still patiently, and gratefully, await any kind of patch or optimization for the game to hopefully rectify the issue. So, try Windowed Fullscreen and see if that remedies any issues for you!
