The sad thing that it was nerfed because of people melting bosses in Gambit prime Nothing should ever be balanced based on Gambit -
It's crazy that Fusion Grenades are more reliable than actual supers...

I vote to make Chaos Reach and Stormtrance combine to be a Roaming Laser, while giving Warlocks a Super that Dramatically Amplifies us increasing our Ability uptime and ability damage, slight DR, and Weapon Handling/Reload speed. Movement stays like regular amplified. I guess you could say Sunsinger in its original state with weapon bonus. That way it’s a DPS super while also utilizing our weapons. Shoot could even make an exotic that applies some of the buff to our allies or just improve dmg of Arc weapons for Allies. Long story short, I miss Sunsinger…never cared for Self Res

2 RepliesThis is true. Also, I need more nova bombs. Increase the effect of Nezarec’s sin and/or un**** Skull of dire ahamkara. Better yet, give me back the Obsidian mind. Even if it’s an Ornament.
-
1 ReplyEh that statement is a bit of a reach…..😏 I hate it here.
-
1 ReplySuper damage parity is atrocious. Chaos reach needs a substantial damage buff. Having 2 add clear supers on the same class is just dumb. Nova Bomb needs a little bump to be competitive with blade barrage, Mobius quiver and gathering storm. Titans are just screwed for super damage outside Thundercrash and without FallingStar TC is trash for damage. Every other super is either locked into support or is a sustained long damage roaming type super that sacrifices weapon damage over the long duration. You would think that would let them have higher uptime and yet majority of Titan supers have the longest base cooldowns. Hunters get one off supers with high damage that can be supplemented with exotics and weapon damage over the life of the super. No parity.

2 RepliesLucky for you, Well-Lock exists. . This is what some of the community cried for. Welcome to meta-game play. It's boring AF, redundant AF, but damnit if it isn't efficient.
-
34 RepliesIts an add clear super. Its not meant for damage. Proven by how you can end the super before it is over to save energy.
-
It needs a serious buff. Even just buffing it by 25%, and either adding Jolt, or extending the base duration by about 3-5 seconds, on top of that, would suffice. But for now, the only thing it's good for is either taking out lower tier enemies, or being sacrificed to activate the Ager's Scepter catalyst.

3 RepliesI wanted to main the warlock but I feel bungie hates warlocks So I decided to main hunter this season lol I feel like my warlock has the gear stats as well but bungie always f over the warlocks

2 RepliesEdited by eternal_napalm: 4/11/2023 12:42:07 AMI was just talking about this yesterday when I made a post about Stormtrance. It's laughably pathetic and weak. Underpowered to an insane degree. Never, EVER run Arc Warlock in PVP you will be handicapping yourself to an incredible degree.
-
Bungie is aware, but they don’t care.
-
Warlock supers are not in a good place. Needlestorm is inconsistent, Chaos was ruined with the Geomag nerf, and I guess Nova is fine. Well with Starfire and fusions makes up for all that though.
-
4 RepliesChaos Reach either needs a massive damage buff or a duration buff. The fact that you essentially have to main Geomags for that super to do literally anything worthwhile is already a huge problem.
-
Using just melee attacks has higher damage dps than that super. It is absolutely pathetic. Seriously using the ball melee three times is equivalent to one chaos reach.
-
Edited by Adam_Clockwork: 4/11/2023 7:28:39 AMI can name a lot of supers that just seem to fail just because you missed possibly a mm away from them. Of course Chaos Reach, Dawn, Storm, Void Walker, Sol, Havoc, Sentinel, Blades, Golden Gun, and freaking new Strand for Hunters at times too. Lets not forget FPS does have an effect for everything, and its been proven quiet a few times now so if anything just because of how FPS, Servers, and how the game runs in general if you not on top or at least the same level as them (Meaning your face to face) You will either miss them by a mm, don't do enough damage, or completely miss them (Due to them teleporting).

I have bern amazed running legendary lost sectors how a damage super doesn’t kill a stunned champ!! They have been nerfed so much that heavy weapons do more damage - ridiculous.

21 RepliesIMO every super apart from these Golden gun/blade barrage/ nova bomb/ thundercrash/ sentinel shield/ bubble/ hammers/ bigger hammer/ well of radiance and dawn breaker (I hope I said their name or got the closest I could do them) are terrible IMO tether activates too slow and the blade for void are terrible at both hit registration and cost way too much energy Arc Titan basically only has one super now being thundercrash as it basically solves all the problems Arc warlock has had it bad, the damage on both are terrible and can’t be used without being the easiest target on the map Nova warp is just trash incarnate, this thing just wow Arc hunter: while I do like new staff super it still feels underwhelming and so does arc staff in general, once again you kinda just run and hope they can’t aim at your head Strand: now being a new one I won’t go too far on it Hunter: the range on it kinda feels bad and it’-blam!- registration kinda sucks as well and requires grapple to be the most effective and not even worth using the suspended thing Titan: it’s decent but honestly the ability being able to lift things up, not that good as once again not really good Stasis titans; this has just been murdered to death, it’s melee sucks, it’s abilities suck, everything about this entire subclass sucks and unfortunately it’s going up against thunder crash But hey, these are just some of the supers I actually have a issue with now do I want the supers I said are good, no, as they are quite okay, would I like to see these buffed so they have a reason to play them yes
-
7 RepliesI suppose -that's it, mine is just a supposition- that Bungie wants to be extremely careful with Chaos Reach in particular because its probably the Super that more easily can melt Bosses in general on the PvE side if buffed too much. What I mean is that Bungie knows that they can't foresee what the players will come out with by combining Supers, Exotics, Mods, Artifact Mods, Stats ecc so they don't want to risk to buff this Super and find Arlocks everywhere with some Specific build spamming it against everything and melting enemies with ease as it happened in the past. Probably they will keep buffing other elements of Arclock in general, but will leave the Chaos Reach alone.
-
10 RepliesBecause warlocks aren’t ment for super damage
-
5 RepliesChaos reach paired with claws gives you 3 add clear supers basically. Use your weapons while sitting in an empowering rift for boss damage. That's the way you play arc Warlock in pve.
-
chaos reach hasn't been in the meta for a year and a half. But after Arc 3.0, Reach hasn't been better than it was before launch of Vault of Glass.
-
2 RepliesThe Geomag buffs should be added to the base Chaos Reach. The rework Geomags to chain damage to nearby enemies.
-
30 RepliesEdited by The Hermit IX: 4/10/2023 7:34:48 PMChaos Reach with Geomags has the most damage of any Warlock super. Think about that… Warlock supers in general need to be brought up to the level of Titans and Hunters.
-
Slide melee is the super, not that trace rifle from your little hand
-
1 ReplyChaos reach was amazing before then Bungie nerfed it to death cause yeah.. anything good gets nerfed in Destiny2 it seems like.
