I have been playing destiny 2 since the beginning and have always had problems with aiming in destiny 2. I remember in destiny 1 I had problems at first then I learned there was a option to change the view to first person or something which made all the difference for me and I had no problem strafing following targets or any thing.
I. Destiny 2 we don't have that option and I can not find anything to help me out. I manage but it is irritating to me my aim is all over the place I can't stay locked on a target for the life of me. I am using the elite series 2 controller I have attempted a lot of different settings nothing realy works well. Just recently I tried using the last word with no aim and , wow no chance in hell I can stay on target with a iratic player.. only way I could make that kinda work is bringing the game settings as low as possible in both aim settings. I am wondering if anyone else has had the same problem when comparing d1 to d2 on aiming, and if they have found anything that works for them.

4 RepliesXbox controllers are abysmal with dead zones. I have gone through three elite series 2 controllers and each one is very different per their dead zones. A couple of things though.. On new gen or pc? Field of view effects the reticle placement.. if you are maxed out on the fov, slide it back.. it raises the reticle.(IF still applicable. Not sure if bungie addressed this) Next, something that helped me.. sensitivity. The higher the sensitivity I have found makes up for dead zones BUT if you are not use to it, you will have a learning curve. Next, IF on pc, you can go through steam to try and fine tune your dead zones. Next, no controller maker out there really offers/advertises per trying to minimize the dead zone scenarios… so we are currently just going to suffer.
