Building Trust?

Dear Bungo Weapon Devs, The title was the only creative thing I could think of for the topic, but I was curious if there would be any way to make trust craftable. I know no one will probably ever read this, but if any dev sees this (love you guys btw) Trust is one of my favorite weapons in the game, and it'd be super cool if it were craftable on account of its larger perk pool. The sound design, the reload, everything. It's such an awesome weapon, and I know you guys have a lot on your plate, but if you have some spare time, it'd sure make at least one person happy :) Keep up the good work, guys! Sincerely, A Trust enjoyer

It's very unlikely to happen. There were complaints last year about there being too many weapons to craft i.e. too many patterns to hunt, not all of which were readily available. As such, Bungie said they were going to try to limit the number of patterns they add each season. As no playlist weapon has ever been made craftable, it would be a shock for that trend to change for Trust. There aren't any other Hand Cannons that use the Trust model, but the closest you'll get perk-wise (which is actually an improvement) would be Zaouli's Bane from King's Fall. Frontier's Cry from Iron Banner might be similar in feeling, but I don't think it's available right now.

    • The more times you reset your gambit rank, the more perks any weapon you roll with Drifter will have. It’s not as certain as crafting your own, and you don’t get enchanted perks, but resetting your gambit rank around three times will make it so you have two or three selectable perks on each gun your receive from Driftor. Which does increase the odds of getting a roll you want

    • I totally thought this post was a plea for bungie to be a little more transparent and make more effort to appease their community 🤦‍♂️

      • No thank you. I don't feel like grinding Gambit every day for 2 years to get 5 deepsight Trust to drop.

      • I picked up my first Trust HC very recently. It has Corkscrew Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Snapshot Sights, and Explosive Payload. Is that a god-roll? Damned if I know. All I can say is that it's an awesome hand cannon, and I'd love to be able to craft it and put enhanced perks on it. I hope a Bungie dev sees this post and gives it the green-light, same as you.

        • I have a Trust with Incandescent though it doesn't have the highest possible stability I know it can get to. Along with Lucky Pants on my Solar Hunter it's been very useful in PvP.
