Witherhoard catalyst. 100 guardian kills
I’m forced to play crucible when I haven’t played destiny in like 2 years

I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this but it worked for me. Mine was stuck at 25 kills out of 100 for the longest time until I went into trials one weekend and got it up to 95 after maybe 3-4 hours lol.

Don’t expect good connections or balanced matchmaking. But, definitely expect to never want to play another crucible match after you complete the catalyst.

[b]DON’T STRESS SO MUCH ABOUT DIRECT HITS[/b] ; DROP A POOL OF SKEET AND APPLY PRESSURE WITH YOUR OTHER WEAPONS AND PEOPLE TEND TO ACCIDENTALLY STRAFE INTO IT.

Use it in IB, it’s still effective if you’re tactical and watch your radar. I don’t go into PVP without it.

Try to play control and aim right at the point when it’s being captured. It’s a pretty good gun, so it will go quicker than you think. Definitely worth it to you as it is great for clearing ads!

I did it twice, and I'm terrible in pvp. Looks like there are plenty of options, though. Witherhoard is actually pretty good in Crucible

Go play quick play for it. Objective modes with SBMM, if you are bad at the game or inexperienced it’ll be even easier since those players will be more likely to walk into the pool of taken disease on the ground. Also equip a heavy GL, 3 free kills every time.

Edited by High Charity: 4/8/2023 1:30:38 PMControl is the easiest way to get the kills since you know exactly where the other team is trying to go at all times, and if you're quick to getting to a contested point, you lock them out of it. IB Zone Control is probably the easiest, I knocked mine out last season in one week

Edited by jhermannITJ: 4/7/2023 5:28:35 PMSince your not a PvP player... the easiest strat will be bait yourself for trades, basically 'point blank'... stick em as they come in, Ohk 99.9% of the time unless they have an overshield. Wutherhoard is the best PvP GL in the game... I'm a big fan, if you can get good with hipfire and sticking it to people... it becomes a 20 meter shotgun. Fire witherhoard at your feet, then melee.... Note: In both these scenarios, you're probably gonna die too... they're just fairly easy setups, you'll tick away at your goal consistently. But 10-15 matches... shouldn't be that bad... and steal green, everyone's green 😈.
