Strand abusers are abundant in PvP but the worst type of people are Immortal users. Especially quickswap bow immortal users. Those ones are the absolute worst.
I'm physically sick, to be honest. I'm rapidly falling out of love with PvP.

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 4/14/2023 2:36:22 PMBuff 720 auto rifles slightly to be able to compete at 27m. Problem solved. Why does a max range 16 zoom 720 auto have less range and a slower ttk then an smg of roughly the same fire rate? Makes no sense. This seems like a pc problem is it? Good luck hitting something 27m away consistently with a 25 stability smg on console. Miss a bullet and target lock turns off too. Give smg’s console stability/bullet magnetism on pc…Problem solved. I’ve been destroying immortals with a near max range dynamic sway/kill clip shayuras. Don’t stand a chance with kill clip/void syphon/volatile rounds working together, which is quite often this season.

This was talked about already by Bungie themselves. All 750 smg's are getting a ttk nerf in midseason patch.
-
They'll murder it next season. I've already started hunting for good sidearms, handcannons and other weapons. They're about to nuke smgs, knowing how Bungie operates...
-
I've pretty much have stayed out of PVP since I've hit max power. Usually, I hang out in PVP.

6 Replies750 rpms are getting a nerf next season
-
Yes because it's doing its job: get people in trials. It will get adjusted next season when there is a new reason to play trials. Also, bow switching has nothing to do with the immortal. It's been going on before that weapon, and will go on after that weapon.
-
So many SMG crutching fools and defenders.

1 ReplyEdited by eternal_napalm: 4/9/2023 8:02:38 PMGetting The Immortal is easy. I only played Trials once before but during accelerated ranks I got 4 wins on a Flawless card and kept getting better. Keep all engrams until Rank 10...then focus all into The Immortal.

Edited by IAGNRG: 4/9/2023 8:16:08 PMOnce everyone has it and numbers aren’t pushing anymore, it’ll be nerfed.
-
No. They’ve addressed that they plan to tune SMGs soon. Not sure exactly when but it was said in one of the last two twabs.
-
I just look at everyone weapons and leave when i see one equiped. Typical bungie never learn
-
Edited by Grim: 4/8/2023 8:27:54 PMWe've heard your complaints and as such we're nerfing glaives again. - sincerely bungie.

2 RepliesSMGs are getting nerfed into the ground next season I believe

3 RepliesThis game is already a pain in the -blam!- and finally there is something fun to use in the game. I don’t play that much pvp and even i got killed many times if i play all because of the immortal. I thought why not and get the gun for myself last week and after many trails torture games i finally got the gun. It’s fun to use with the good roll and i use it more in PVE. It doesn’t need a nerf in PVE and if it does there is always another weapon stand up and rule PVP. Don’t cry if something is fun after a disapointment LightFall and try to get it yourself to join the little enjoy we have. People always crying to fast about something.

5 RepliesWont even try to get immortal. Not worth the frustration and stress of playing trials.

6 Repliesround robin - problem solved

Instead of being a whinge bag go get it from trials and join the rest of us who get to kick -blam!- with it.

Edited by RevFunk28: 4/9/2023 2:03:21 PMIt's not needed. The gun is fine, it's all other 750's that need a buff

4 RepliesEdited by The Hermit IX: 4/8/2023 3:11:30 AMIt’s a great SMG and when the nerfs go through on the others, it will replace them as the dominant SMG. The game needs powerful loot to chase. We all have to learn to deal with it in PVP. It’s not the first powerful weapon that everyone doesn’t have and it won’t be the last. The fix to the bug on target lock was important and brought it down a notch. Let’s not condemn every weapon that’s powerful and worth chasing in the game. What’s the point of playing if we don’t have great loot?
-
if i run immortal right now im just getting fried by fusions or lasered by a pulse or scout rifle. its not working out too great.
-
6 RepliesI reset my Iron banana rank twice this week. I have honestly only ran across maybe 2 matches where someone was burning me down with the immortal. My fault for being that close.
-
Since they fixed that glitch with Target Lock, it really doesn't seem like an issue. I'd rather aggressive smg gameplay than a bunch of Jims and Andys sitting in the back with pulses. 750 SMGs are probably overall a bit too strong in general but a slight adjustment should be fine. Btw, Rufus's Fury is a great counter. -blam!- beams
-
Strand abusers? Can you people not articulate anything without turning into drama queens? Sheesh.
-
177 RepliesI swear y’all are bad at this game. THE -blam!- GUN ISNT THE PROBLEM, IT’S TWO -blam!- PERKS! GOD FORBID WE GET A WEAPON IN THE GAME THAT SHAKES UP THIS WEAK -blam!-, TEAM SHOOTING, DAD RIFLE META AND IT’S ACTUALLY GOOD. Get better at the game. Nothing is wrong with it at all.
-
Its the entire archetype, subs in general need a rework. That just happens to be the best. Range nerf + target acquisition nerf would likely solve it - although the meta is so dominant on subs/sidearms in general they need to rework the whole thing.
-
3 RepliesNothing wrong with it. There are guns that out shoot it.
