Iron banner match making is a joke...
im a complete noob when it comes to PVP in this game why are you putting me in games against complete try hard meta 5 stack lobbies?! like seriously... i have no meta guns or god roll specs... no experience in the PVP side of it yet every damn game i just get poop'd on... its not fun and its really not fair imo. sticking a mouse in with a pack of cats is never fun....

Its skill based matchmaking so if you suck at pvp then you are facing other players that suck at pvp.

Destiny’s pvp is a joke. It takes zero skill to be good at the game. If you’re a noob you’d hit top rank. All you need is a titan and a shotgun. No gun skill is needed in this game. It’s laughable how -blam!- this games pvp is

Try playing in my games where I regularly face players will double your elo, sometimes triple. The matchmaking for me is so disgusting that I’m completely done with ib until next season.

Had a quick look at your game history. Looked at seven IB matches, in 6 of which you had over a 1,13kda. Whilst it’s true that your ‘team’ suffered a few defeats, your performance was decent. Does winning in a video game really mean so much to you? It’s just a game.

My experience in iron banner is this... Group up and move as a unit and team shoot. You’ll win every time, and the thing about being solo is you can see your team mates so follow them. The end

Iron Banner is a joke and should be removed , and Saladin and Efrideet killed off, and The Guardian renounce them after we learn they where all war criminals

Just so you're aware, there are websites that allow you to see all of your opponents (and their stats) for every game you play, so anyone with a couple minutes of time on their hands can verify these claims. I'm not going to comment on your stats, but I can definitely tell you that 95% of the people you've been playing against are very close to you stats-wise, so you're either undervaluing yourself or overvaluing your opponents. Most likely the latter.

1 ReplyI'll be that guy. Looking up your stats on crucible report one of your most recent losses stat wise you were by far the better player than the entire enemy team yet they beat your team by a lot. Weird.

This particular IB sucks because people have played the mode it long enough to know how to to game the system. Play when it's Control again and it won't be so bad, if you enjoy it. If you don't, then don't there's no IB gun so cool that you need to grind for it and the armor as far as I'm concerned is the class item for the hunter, the head for the warlock and titan, everything else is meh.

They really messed up with this IB. No one wants to run 6 stacks anymore because of how SBMM works for this, they got rid of freelance, and this game mode doesn't mercy soon enough. It's SO much fun getting railed by an entire team of back to back supers o_______o Only reason people are playing is for the Pinnacles so they're ready for GM's next week.

If you’re getting put into lobbies against 5 stacks, you are matching yourself with 5-stacks. That’s how this MM system works. And if you’re as noob and skill-deficient as you say, you are NOT getting matched against amazing players. You’re just not. On occasion, sure: but not as a rule. We know this because true try-hards hate this MM system because they DONT match up against you. What you’re likely seeing is the game mode. Noob players tend not to play the objective. And IB tends to bring out a lot of non-PVP players which can exasperate this further. This IB mode can snowball. If you’ve got one player (let alone two) on the opposing team who’s on a tear and your team doesn’t go out of its way to shut him/her down, you can lose quickly because of the multiplier.
