I am a playstation user who found out about destiny 2 recently and I really liked the gameplay and the mechanics of the game. So, I decided to download it yesterday and to my surprise found out that strikes, the crucible, dungeons, and pretty much anything that requires multiplayer was locked behind PS plus.
This was surprising to me because first, I thought that the business model of this game would be to earn money through expansions, the season pass, and the store; second, I thought that it would follow the same model as any other free-to-play multiplayer game, by making multiplayer free.
And then I did more digging and found out that multiplayer doesn't require Gold on Xbox, so now the question is how come you are charging playstation players additional fees and not xbox players.
My point is I really like this game and wish that anybody who is not very lucky to pay a monthly subscription like myself can also enjoy it.

4 RepliesHey there. This is entirely Sony's decision, not Bungie's.

This is a matter for PS support, as they determine what titles do/don’t require PS+.
