Find weapon archtypes you like and whenever possible use your PVP guns in PVE as well. Learn maps. D2 is pretty forgiving in terms of aim assist and bullet magnetism so being half decent really just requires map knowledge, positioning and situational awareness.
If you want to be better in trials, do scrims and play more comp. If you want to get better in IB, play more QP.
Find players slightly better than you and do PMs. (private matches/scrims)
Think about your play style, what weapons are you using? Meta? Off meta? Do you crutch on your specials more than you use your primary? What about positioning? Are you always out in the open? Do you get impatient and get overly aggressive after you wound someone?
Prívate matches and finding other good players is what I did to get where I am. It’s really not hard to get good at this game plus you might make friends along the way.
I just found about Jazzinyourface, his YouTube shows you how to push in trials.
I am not subbed to him but i watched his “opening”vids and they are well explained, I’d recommend him to anyone trying to get good.
Youur aim might not be perfect but that will increase over time, knowing how to push is more crucial imo.
Good luck!
