Amanda was not a background character she has been here since D1, she was involved in taking down oryx with the modifications she did to our ship for cloaking, she was involved in taking down ghaul by being a pilot, helped countless people make their way to the last city, and was basically treated as a second child by zavala

I totally agree the whole season she was saving humans that we're being imprisoned by the cabal. I know this is a game and we don't think about these things cause it's not real life. But to those that say she didn't contribute or was just a background character. would you have the caballs to do half of what Amanda did with NO POWERS? I don't think so. The vanguard barely ever get off their butts to do things I do t see zavala on the field. Ikora does the occasional nova bomb to mead the way for us but stays behind. Amanda was the bravest. Yeah she wasn't a guardian and didn't have powers but she sis more than you would do if you were a regular human in the last city.
