Matchmaking is terrible. Me and a friend want to play but we just get swept 3 out of 5 matches. Have played trials 3 times in my career and constantly getting matched to opponents with adept trials weapons.

I agree. I’m ok in Crucible generally, having got a bit better over the years but will never be as good as a 13yo kid. The problem is that you go into ToO at the ground level and are constantly put against guys with Trials weapons which is bad enough (the ttk on The Immortal is faster than most other weapons it seems but insane on the adept version) and the inability of average players to go flawless and get the rewards just kills it for me. I played it this weekend just to get the pinnacle drop and to be honest I probably won’t touch Trials again for a very long time again, if ever. Bungie needs to stop pandering to the top 1% and wake up to the fact that most of their profits come from average players.

1 ReplyConsider playing quickplay with sbmm Jim’s like you wanted to get better before playing trials. Oh wait playing .5’s all day won’t make you better lmao.
-
You only played trials 3 times? And you see nothing wrong with that 🙄
-
The fact that like 1% of your time is spent in pvp and you have the audacity to complain is wild, get a grip buster.
-
You’ve confirmed that you’ve not taken the time to get better like everyone else, and then complain that the competition is too much? Well yeah? No one is going flawless having played trials 3 times in their career
-
PvP as a whole is bad.

1 ReplyI genuinely am asking what your expectations are when you buy a card and load in to a trials match. Do you go in and not expect to face players better than you?
-
2 RepliesEdited by WifeAggro_AFK: 4/1/2023 5:56:41 PM3/5 isn't bad - what were you expecting going into end game pvp without any experience? 60% L/W is actually really good.
-
1 ReplyI sucked at Trials whenever I tried it but that's because I didn't play much PVP. I played more and even some Competitive and just grinding in there will make you better. I'm no PVP wizard but I have good games now and then.
-
It's just Bungie and their matchmaking, which is horrible, to say the least. You'll constantly see things like 15kd for one guy and 0.0kd for the other. Like making a kindergarten kid box against Fury. You won't find things like this anywhere else.
-
I won’t be attempting trials. Immortal is not worth exposing myself to such a stressful playlist.
-
8 RepliesAnd.. Sorry but you are playing a hard core pvp mode created to challenge the best pvp players in the game. The only skill based matchmaking in Trials is YOU deciding that you are good enough to play and win.
-
Dont expect to get free wins in endgame pvp. Its a playlist made for the the best players in the game, of course newer players are going to struggle a bit.
-
Why pretend like you have no hand in your losses?

1 ReplyRng is king lol. Just played with a guy, whos 0.66 life time and 1.19 this week, and you know what, 2 flawlesses out of 16 matches this weeks. But it’s the bow that no one cares so lol

I mean that’s trials for you. But it’s not impossible to get to the lighthouse. Just keep practicing and focus on your weak points in PvP. And keep trying until you get to the lighthouse. Don’t worry about adept trials guns as well because most PvP meta weapons aren’t even trials ones😄.
