POLL: How Common Is Cheating In PVP?
This is not scientific, but I was curious about the perception of cheating in D2.

3 RepliesThat depends on your take on "cheating"? Is netlimiting/lagswitching cheating? If so, I'd say around 25-30%. Do you mean just hard cheating (aimbot/wallhack etc)? I'd say around 5%.

2 Replieswith AI aimbot it's undetectable, the only way to know for sure is to look at their Precision %. Trials this week was god awful with all the sniper AI aimbots running around with 93% headshot ration with a cloudstrike with 250+ kills. 1 in every 3 players had 93-95% headshot ratio with cloudstrike. AI aimbot is undetectable by most Anti cheats now a days.

4 RepliesHardware wise. Haaaahaaa for sure. Noone wants to actually play a game. And for sure they don't like to lose at the game they don't want to actually play lol It's hilarious how Bungie did the flinch and stability changes while third-party mods are so rampant.

1 ReplyWith sbmm in pretty much every playlist (except trials which is super sweaty anyway) it probably seems like more than it is because the higher you get in the skill brackets the more prevalent it will be. Of the players I play against, probably somewhere between 1% and 5%. Way more if you include recoving.

8 RepliesIf you consider Cronus/xim cheating(which it is) I’d say easily over 25% of players. People using actual hacks like walls/aimbot is gonna be way lower and only on pc that I’ve ever seen

2 RepliesI remember in D1 coming up against players using Matador shotgun which would map you. Apparently they were not cheating though, and it turned out that the Matador was the best sniper in the game.....😂😂😂

3 RepliesMore than 25%?!?! Pwaaahahahha hahaha hahahhahaba! I find it sad that so many people are clueless when it comes to lag and latency, not to mention the multitude of buffs this game has. Now I get an idea of how many believe cheating is so big, its honestly saddening.

Hard to tell. Between -blam!- servers and incompetent implementation of AA its next to impossible to tell. In most cases that is.

8 RepliesWell, Bungie could partner with the Ai anti cheat, but they would lose money, so they refuse to. According to the Ai anti cheat, 25% of players cheat. It's incredibly easy and cheap to cheap on console, and you'll never be banned. Bungie rather sue the companies except the most popular cheating website which is strange. The thing is Ai anti cheat would ban all 3rd party extra aa devices for controller, wall hacks, aimbot etc. Then ban all your alts because it recognizes your personal reaction speeds. Ai anti cheat can ban 99% of cheaters in 5 minutes versus battle eye it takes weeks to months.

It’s hard to proves. Sometime you get two tapped by a 340 pulse, it technically can, but very hard to do in reality due to recoil etc. it might just be the opponents 1 out of 10 lucky shots. But if you get two tapped by the same guy five times in a row, then the guy might be using some anti recoil thingy. Idk 🤷♀️

Watched a very interesting escape from tarkov video covering the cheating in the game… Using battle eye. Although unofficial data.., the person had found that about 60% of the lobbies he was doing his testing in had cheaters that he could see the blatant use. The study was done using -blam!- cheat that just gave wallhacks and a radar that depicted where the players were looking. Said person ended up with the test account banned, but only due to making a video that gained a lot of views… not due to detection.
