There’s a book out there that’s the source of all destiny lore and the concept behind everything, to include images and names.
What led me to this realization is the lore book “unveiling” in the very first paragraph. I’ve posted about it before when shadowkeep came out but I don’t get on here much so I’m not sure how much traction the post got. Unveiling mentions a philosopher and a quote and that it’s the most important thing to know. It is indeed the most important thing to know.
Google “Six Theosophic Points”. There’s a downloadable pdf of the translated book. Read through it entirely and you’ll see mentions of dark, light, worms, vex, strike, tree of light and dark, amongst numerous other references. In your google search, look at the images associated with the name. Specifically, the circle with a triangle inside and the balance of light and dark tree. It’s relevant to what was revealed in light fall.
You can tie literally every theme and reference in destiny back to this book because the original story and concept was based on it. Bungie has pulled in a few other references from mythology but nothing is really secret if you know what to relate the info to within the destiny lore.
The only thing we can’t predict is how exactly they’ll choose to portray a theme since they have to make it make sense in the destiny world.

3 RepliesThis is a generic comparison. The original book is based on Christianity, Jesus, Devils, God, Judgments, etc, kind of concepts. In a wider aspect, you can literally map any good vs. evil to this kind if theme, right?
