I'm so damn tired of wiping to things that are out of my control. YOU GUYS WERE QUICK TO FIX DUALITY, HOW ABOUT THIS BULLCRAP! HUH? CHOP CHOP! WHY ISN'T THIS AN ALL HANDS ON DECK ISSUE?
-
1 ReplyHow are you guys dying to the launchers? I honestly just don't get it. It's never been an issue for me or any of my teammates.

Edited by LikwiD_SmOkE22: 4/1/2023 3:43:50 PMQuick fix to duality? Lol the fix was definitely not quick.. the launch pads will be fixed in 2025

5 RepliesI don't really have an issue with them on any class. You just need to back into them fully and hit jump at the height of your flight arc. There's markings on them too, a box and orange shapes which help you discern the best standing position.
-
6 RepliesQuick to fix duality? It took them like almost a year to figure out how to fix the bells.
-
4 RepliesI run every time and I have never died from them.
-
6 RepliesThey didn’t technically fix duality did they?
-
Quick to fix duality? It took a year, or more...
-
stand in the right spot and you;re fine, or jump when you get launched
-
4 RepliesThe amount of flawless attempts I've had because of those things. They should also pause the fixing colony glitch until they fix the glitch where the game does not let you get the dark/light buff to kill the shielded ads in the second encounter. When that mechanic starts working as intend, then they can fix the colony.

11 RepliesIf you watch the raid dev blog it's clear why... They genuinely believe the "tee-hee it launched me the wrong way, oh noes look at me flying to my death!" is a fun and engaging way to play raids. They don't design them to be completed efficiently, they designed it to have mid-raid giggle potential. This is tripping in Brawl. They want you to fail. They don't think of success as an important metric, they just want you to try, to learn to enjoy failing, to think of raiding as silly silly funtime.
-
They didnt fixed duality btw. They kinda suck at fixing their own game. They should have changed their engine while making d2. Or at least not split from activision since we know activision studios like vicarious were actually doing the hardest parts x)
-
2 RepliesJust fully back up into the launcher before you shoot it. I’ve never had issues with them
-
Nah they need something to hold the player back
-
They work just fine now if you make sure you standing all the back on the launcher
-

It's working as intended by the way also if you are having problems use strand, sword.

There’s a way to avoid the bs from them once you figure it out, but damn do I hate them as well. As a primary runner, they’re annoying to deal with and wish they just pushed you straight instead of directly down or straight up.
-
Just use icarus dash
-
For warlocks, jump right after shooting the launch crystal (like, immediately). Launches you way further. 2nd encounter launchers work done for us, tho, just gotta skill it
-
Pro Tip: when shooting the little "olive" to activate the launcher, DON'T PRESS W / FORWARD ON LEFT STICK! activate your boost / double jump around halfway over the gap. We tested this with a group last week and it worked.
-
My team worked out day 1 that if you back pedal into it while shooting the shard you’ll be fine like 99.% of the time. It slows you down enough and you shouldn’t need to worry, since we started doing this our deaths from them have essentially stopped
-
4 RepliesI've never had an issue with them 🤷♂️
-
1 ReplyOn Titan and Hunter it’s easy to jump the gap. It’s Warlocks that seem to be the issue in my experience. A good way to negate this issue as a Warlock is to make sure you’re right agains the launcher, and as soon as it launches you, hit your jump button. I’ve started doing this on my Warlock and I haven’t had any issues being pushed downward.
-
I‘ve done it most on warlock and NEVER had any issues. It’s clear that this is all user error and there isn’t anything Bungie can do about that.
-
not even thinking about trying flawless until its fixed
-
7 Replies"YOU GUYS WERE QUICK TO FIX DUALITY" -blam!- no they weren't lol. Use strand or a sword to recover, it's gonna be a while before this gets taken care of.

Edited by Gibbon, the Ape Defector: 3/30/2023 5:49:17 PMIf you could learn to use them as well as you could and cut other mistakes from the rest of the run you would only have to try at the encounter three times tops
