Adept weapons being caple of getting enhanced perks is fine and all, but it is not enough for master raids to be worth running.
Just run challenge encounters until you have all the weapons, then do a nezarec run and spend spoils on the adepts. Rinse and repeat.
There is no incentive to run the non challenge encounters and that needs to change.

and that armor should not drop at 58 ffs. Makes me wanna punt a panda and they're cute and don't deserve that so do remove 58 stat rolls from master raids. Think of the pandas bungie

6 RepliesBut don’t you get adept raid weapons?
-
What would also make them more worthwhile is if they had exclusive cosmetics. I'll never understand why bungie refuses to make cosmetic stuff for raids that you don't have to pay extra for. Like...what's the actual -blam!- point of doing master raids if the only thing you get out of playing a substantially more annoying event...is the same crap but with a 5% increase on what they do with the same rng perkpool? Who cares if adepts exist, I can just craft the raid weapons lol.
-
Even if you get artifice it still will be worthless. You can farm easily artifice in dungeons faster. Just drop adept every encounter after you unlock them.
-
-
Yeah that would be nice. It would give more incentive to run master raids and have it where you can farm armor.
-
Conversely, if they did have it, no one would spend $10 on their mediocre dungeons.
-
Agreed, I would add that dismantling raid armor should yield raid weapon crafting resources. Some players can run raids and earn only weapons, others will only get armor. Doubles the pain.

3 RepliesRaids need better stat armor in general

This is actually an amazing idea

Bungie has stated that the way the raid mod slot and artifact armor slot works that there will never be a artifact raid armor. It’s just down to the spaghetti code. Armor can only have 4 slots, the 4th slot was used for exotic armor perks then raid mods and now the artifact armor system
-
They made Raids gives you the Adept weapons and the Dungeons gives you the Artifice because they want you to play both activities.
-
Yeah honestly, I’m only farming the current weekly challenge and then out. No point in finishing the raid at that difficulty when you can get the same gear from a faster regular difficulty.

ornaments also! but.......Overdeliver!

1 ReplyAt least double perks ..

2 Repliesit just blows my Mind how they removed the second row of Perks from the Adept Root of Nighmares Weapons... like why?

I fully agree & commonly champion for this. I want to only do Master clears each reset & get all the loot, like the D1 days. The common push back on it is that the game will not allow for more than five mod slots on armor. I say, just make artifice armor able to slot artifice & raid mods in that extra slot. Raid mods do nothing outside of the raids, so people don't get special advantages & how game breaking could it be to just let artifice armor slot any raid mod during a raid? These raids are jokes in terms of difficulty anyways.

10 RepliesI'm not sure where this fake excitement for artifice armor came from but I've seen a ton of people talking about it lately. Should master raids have artifice? Sure. Trials chest? Sure. Will it make anyone play either mode more than they already do? Nah, probably not. If you're already clearing this content competently enough to think you could farm it (which you still couldn't in master raids unless it's the featured...) the likelihood of another piece of artifice armor is probably a negligible increase in incentive or boost to your arsenal. I don't care if they add it, but to pretend it's going to massively improve anyone's experience and get people invested is insane.

21 RepliesImagine a world where master raids have worse drops than master dungeons and where a patrol zone has tougher enemies than a raid. That's the world we're playing in right now

That and age of triumph style ornaments.

15 Replies“Rinse and repeat” (to farm loot) “There’s no reason to run it” (you just said you farm loot) Sometimes they write themselves

Making the master raid armor also be artifice would have been a huge W. They want to keep master dungeons geared towards armor and master raids geared towards weapons, but they are not one in the same, the raid is the endgame, and the endgame should have the BIS gear. As long as you can craft raid weapons, no one is going to grind for adept guns with enhanced perks. The adept mods aren’t good enough to warrant the grind, and tennis balls are a dime a dozen.
-
6 RepliesNo thanks. I'm ok with Master Raids having Adept weapons with enhanced perks, but the Exotic drop should be increased by triumphs, or challenges as they're doing with dungeons.

28 RepliesHardly any incentive to raid to begin with. Weapons are good/great but I’ve never felt like I’m missing out. Their just cheese weapons to make the loop shorter by a phase or two. I’ll never be that sad sap who runs a raid for months for a single drop.
