So my team just completed the master challenge for this week, I wasn’t expecting the drop to be a set weapon which is okay, but it’s not okay how the weapons don’t get a guaranteed god roll, other raid adept weapons do but the Adepts for root don’t and they honestly should be. I know that they are probably dropping this way considering we can enhance the perks on these adepts later on but it’s not the most desirable thing to go grind first encounter of master root for a total of 3 chances for a decently rolled adept weapon which if your unlucky for that week you would need to wait a total of 6 weeks for that adept weapon to come back. So I say add the curated rolls onto the adept weapons, but when it comes to enhancing the perks on the adepts, allow the random roll drops to be enhanced and don’t allow the curated roll to be enhanced. That way bungie can be happy and we can be a little less miserable for this grind. Thanks for reading.

Edited by Architect: 3/29/2023 5:10:31 PMI believe its because of the perks being upgradable. My team can't raid until Friday so I have plenty of time to see what people think of the current adept weapon before deciding if it is something worth going for.

Dang adepts are out already? I really have to try that raid out then, I’ve been procrastinating😅. And yeah I agree on being guaranteed a good-god roll on an adept weapon. For both trials and for end game pve content. I got lucky with my adept submission and deliverance from VoW. And as well with my adept Scout from VoG. All pvp rolls thankfully. But in my opinion ever since Bungie mentioned it. Im going to wait for the new enhanced adept versions to drop to opt into doing master challenges. And hopefully those have actual good rolls that are versatile.

I find it very weird that it’s a set weapon. With only four encounters but six weapons I’m curious how that works out in the end.

1 ReplyCan you still buy more Adepts from the Spoils chest on a Master clear?
