Apparently, cabal threshers have been "nerfed". Whoever is claiming this at bungie needs their head examined. The threshers need the same level nerf that you placed on veist stinger. As in - about 50% of their current damage output. The grandmaster nightfalls this season are going to be an absolute shiteshow.
PS....thanks for making the arms dealer one of the longest and most absolute ridiculous strikes in the game. I didn't think y'all could screw up a strike that bad.
PSS....For the love of God...please allow us to bring our season of the forge weapons and armor up to the light cap. It took some of us weeks and months to get the stuff because of ridiculously low drop rates, only to see you cap it as legacy gear. There are plenty of weapons from vanilla d2 that are more legacy than the forge stuff.

1 ReplyThe kind of "nerf" that Thresher's need is to be registered as actual enemies --- my tracking module launcher won't track to Thresher's... my Cata-bomb won't track to it..... Ridiculous

2 RepliesThey been nerfed I did a NF master last week before the change and one after ....huge difference ...same for in neomuna Interceptor still kick my -blam!- And the other drop ship on arms dealer can be annoying but you can easily deal with his turret making it useless

1 ReplyWait till the play the updated lake of shadows. They literally drag out what used to be a 5 second sparrow race to the actual 1st encounter to a slow 2 minute event that requires escorting pyramid tech while fighting waves of enemies.

3 RepliesI've been farming the Arms Dealer to get the catalyst for my Skyburner activated. Its great for getting lots of Cabal kills (if you need them). I think the end-game change to this mission as we used to be able to kill the boss just as the elevator got to the top. Really liking the extra action added at the end now. I don't know what folks are crying about. There are lots of "room clearing" primaries available if folks would just work their load outs properly (Striga, Skyburner, etc...) I think much of the moaning must be from folks who never finished the campaign and got their weapons, perks, artifact leveled up. Or maybe not configured properly. D2 was never meant to be a game which could be "finished" as the devs want to keep folks engaged while waiting for new seasons and expansions. If it was easy, folks would get it done and then move on to something else. There is lots of stuff to do here and learn here and sometimes it just means thinking about "what you want to do tonight". If all you got is "Pew, Pew" its going to get frustrating (or boring) real fast. This last weekend I decided to get all my catalysts loaded and activated. I found the Wish Plates of Suro Chi for much of that but now I need Cabal... Lots of nuance here if you can get past the need for running around and just shooting stuff...

Curious on what weapons would be viable now without any perk refreshes if they brought all current sunset weapons up to current light?
-
1 ReplyIf it’s sunset it’s not coming back til they rerelease them with an updated perk pool. Might as well trash your old weapons, also I think the nightfall was fine wasn’t much an issue destroying or dodging them definitely gonna be a pain in gm but luckily we get ai support in a lot of the sections.

Edited by Say Whatt: 3/28/2023 2:48:03 PMI can attest to the nerf. 100 resilience, 3 thresher missiles would kill me (mods of course may alter this). After they nerfed them, just yesterday I was hit by 6 missiles and was still alive (one more would have killed me). This was also on the same character/ setup. I would say this did receive about a 50% nerf. You, of course, may have changed your armor recently but looking at your hunter, your resilience is only just over 30. I know you know but your going to die quick to just about everything!
