So I took an extremely long break, left during the black armory an came back a few weeks before the end of Season of the Seraph. I'm pretty much already at endgame, lacking a few 1810s in key spots. RNG has been screwing with me. I've done RON several times, done the dungeons several times, finished VOG the other night, Kingsfall the night before that. DSC a few days before that . Almost completed all my IB challenges an got a title. The thing is there truly are people who just eek by. They've been doing ot since D1, hence the paid carried companies that respond to most LFG posts here. The streamers have been screwing with the game since day 1. I watched it darn near destroy D1 an then they continued onto D2 making it worse. Strikes an IB was the casual Playlist back in the day. Trials and raids/nightfall were the endgame. I've always been in for the end game content. It's always delivered, never thought it was exceptionally hard but rather enjoyed it. Casuals always had trouble in anything above a strike/IB maybe they could do one or two nightfalls that were their favorite strike. Streamers have turned two really excellent shooters into darn near full time jobs. They do and play nothing else. I think bungie an the streamers are completely at fault for basically neglecting the casuals. They buy the emotes, gear, seasons. Most if thr played enough an caught on went on to become raiders an lighthouse goers. He'll there's whole clans devoted to keeping casuals from going to the lighthouse. The other side is a bunch of try-hard pve-ers refusing to show people what to do an asking for emblems an KWTD posts in LFG...effing pathetic. The community is Destiny biggest problem....even above bungo an streamers..

When I see people struggling I make it my duty to help them get through

My tune changed this weekend and I'm thoroughly convinced it's a skill issue. These players will remove themselves from the queues in due time and it'll just be competent players left. That said, weekends have always been fairly abysmal for MMR in any gamemode. The only difference is now casual know-nothings are getting exposed in the PVE side of play. It was always obvious in weekend Crucible or Gambit, but the Strike playlist is where they would go to enjoy the game. I feel for them to a degree, but as a player who came to D2 1 year ago and managed to hit endgame status in that timeframe, it's really just a matter a willingness to learn the game.

I joined a nightfall which was 2 hours deep. Both guys had double shotguns & a sword, no mods & awful stats. They shouldn't have removed adept nightfalls for these guys. These are the guys who buy skins, these are the guys who wont buy final shape

right now its a slog, and definately not fun. ALways -ve power levels, resiliance nerf on top, and bullet sponge enemies. Its more like a chore.
