All classes have multiple options for damage. Giving them different ways to play the game and still be able to be a kick -blam!- guardian. Except warlock.
The video speaks for its self. Not only does Hunter have the highest burst DPS but also the best roaming damage.
Titans have multiple damage supers over 500k
And then there’s warlocks. Lol just go clear ads or throw a well down.
I’m just asking for a reason to take well off. Well doesn’t need a Nerf. One of the other warlock supers needs to be buffed. Force a team to make a decision between good damage and survivability.
For anyone who doesn’t want to watch the video.

1 ReplyEdited by Ghostfire239: 3/29/2023 10:30:19 PMI think the problem is that Warlocks don’t have a super damage exotic like Falling Star. Also to be fair, Hunters with Star eater should have the highest damage. Given that most super damage things can just be swapped to with no issues, while you need to collect orbs first. Without Star Eater, their damage on most things become in line with things like Nova Bomb. So I think Warlocks just need a super damage exotic.

2 RepliesEdited by AlexanderNVM: 3/27/2023 8:51:13 PMI could do with a 2nd warlock stasis super, and other stasis melee options.. cause the stick and balls is the worst.

4 RepliesI think we’re missing the real problem here: titans have too many roaming, melee type supers…
I know that’s not what you were getting at, and I wouldn’t care if warlocks got some super buffs as long as titans did too. I mean, bladefury is really the only good dps roaming super.
1 ReplyOne of the reasons I boycotted buying Lightfall. They spent a year dismantling Warlock with no signs whatsoever of changing, far from it, more signs that it's getting even worse.

3 RepliesIf this is based on ehroar testing. He tested the warlock and titan supers wrong. Didnt use swarmers with needlestorn which increase damage by about 20%. He did slam attack with hammer instead of spin. Also...hunter is the damage based class... Its obvious they have the highest damage supers . Warlocks have much better abilities and survivability.

2 RepliesNeedle storm with Swamers out damage Thundercrash with their exotic. Does less then Star Eaters obviously but nothing can compete with that. I personally dislike using Star Eaters because it’s a win more exotic, if your dying and wasting the orbs it’s a pretty weak exotic

2 RepliesNeedlestorm and Nova bomb work. Hunter is the dps class, so it makes sense to me that they have better options.

2 RepliesNova Warp deals more damage total than either of the Bombs...? The fuuuuuuuuuuuu-

1 ReplyThe problem I think Bungie needs to address is making each super viable beyond just DPS or survivability. They need to justify running active supers for ad clear or for DPS. Looking at Daybreak, the number is quite abysmal at first glance. HOWEVER, the raw damage of that super ignores the fact that it’s the most mobile of the active supers, making it ideal for ad clear. It’s problem is the long--blam!- cooldown that makes it useless because using it for the ad clear will almost never happen compared to Arc Staff or Blade Fury. Arc Staff only works well against bosses on the ground, similar to Silk Strike. Bosses that hover or fly take less damage because more attacks miss, making ranged supers(Dawnblade) do more damage. A good design decision would be to focus each super on their assigned class and a role they’re meant for. Warlocks should at minimum have one support super for survivability and boss damage support imo, and Titans should have a super for survivability and ad clear. Hunters would be boss damage and ad clear. Hunters have been fairly consistent with this, and Titans are consistent with this on Void and sometimes Solar if you make enough Sun Spots. Warlocks only see this in Well, which makes it the go to support super. There are really only two support supers in the game and one is a bubble so obviously the only other support super is being picked. They should consolidate the Void Nova Bombs into one as a buff and grant them some weird Void super that adds a different type of survivability, maybe a new Well that grants devour instead to help with ad clear. As the support class Warlocks should flexible with supporting ad clear and boss damage so giving them those options would be nice. Idk, that’s my two cents. Sorry for the long response.

2 RepliesEdited by Aluber, Jester of Despia: 3/26/2023 4:24:48 PMIt's almost like hunters is the dps class, that's why we don't have alot of survivability, the term is glass cannon

1 Reply... Where's regular tether? Pretty sure it's one of the worst DPS supers in the game.
