Difficulty - Stop Listening To Your Elite Few Players
The difficulty needs to go back to the way it was in season 19. This Lightfall bringing difficulty back is a decision that should have been performed extremely different. I used to run through Legend Nightfalls with my friends for a good challenge, but now Hero difficulty is much harder than Legend in season 19 with them dying a lot more and giving up. Legendary Lost Sectors aren't even worth the time anymore and just absolute BS in terms of needing to be 1830. Why do I want to spend the entire season before even being able to play them in the last week or two of the season because I don't have ridiculous amounts of time level through the entire pinnacle gear status before obtaining 1830. The new strand exotic armors are locked mainly behind these legendary lost sectors and I cannot enjoy them. Yet Bungie wants to listen to their elite players who want harder difficulty. Okay them make the following add-ons for these players to have harder difficulty playthroughs while keeping the lower difficulties and same loot while increasing loot with new difficulty add ons.

There you go now these elite players get their added difficulty and regular players keep their low difficulty activities.

2 RepliesThe game is to slow place with enemies being tanks and bosses with broken health Bars to stop and wait for them to into another phase. Destiny is copying Elden Ring with all these bosses/enemies and yes I see the modifiers. If they are going to make the enemies difficult them just have them do more damage not tons of health which makes takes like 10 mins to defeat.

You say only a few players but the majority of us are enjoying it. I know you never see praise in the forums, but that’s because good players don’t waste their time crying over the game and instead work on getting better.

This can be seen in the steam player count and the most played games on Xbox (Don't Have a PS so can't speak on that). This game currently has a very healthy player population, higher than witch queen had and far better than it ever was in the season of the seraph or plunder. Yall yelling all this doom and gloom is the definition of "vocal minority." The game is fine and it aint going anywhere. Nobody outside of your own echo chambers cares about what the inept few have to say.

16 RepliesIf your seeing your ghost all the time in hero difficulty that is you bro. Hero difficulty is still a cake walk once you pay attention to the surge and the threat of the activity. I welcome the suggestions you propose with open arms.

3 RepliesThey don't just listen to them....Bungie hires them lol. * Seriously raise your power level, learn some new builds and weapon combos and the difficulty in the game is the same as usually is. Except for master lost sectors and grandmaster's....those are SUPPOSED to be difficult and unfair.

3 RepliesDifficulty will come down or we will see Destiny fade away. They have a long track record of screwing up and adjusting as they go. Take legend lost sectors for rank 7, now pushed to later. I tried legend lost sector today. 2 deaths or more per champion, after stun, I could not hurt them. Full super only took half of health. Heavy grenade launcher did little. Giving up until hitting cap. I never had an item that was great like loreli before it was nerfed. They buff & nerf all the time to push people toward being satisfied, but don’t make any happy. Please keep posting because if developers are just watching you tube, they have no idea how their game is working.

totally agree, difficulty should be optional. This expansion the fun isn't there and playing the game feels like a chore. Its a power fantasy that doesn't deliver, on the fantasy. Right now its costing players, and people are noticing in the clan and freinds lists. Its definitely a fun issue, not a skill issue
