Vexcalibur catalyst is not worth it
I'm 60 yrs old and I would rather go to work for a week of 12 hr night shifts than do the catalsyt quest. No thanks I'm burned out and done. I used to run GM's and enjoy them but this is over the top for a basic catalyst. Hope all of you that wanted more difficult content are finally satiated.

3 Replies54 year old here and I don't understand the point of bringing up your age. It's not that hard. This is meant to be a game played with friends. Have had absolutely no problem getting this done each week with Clan mates.

3 RepliesDoing the catalyst won't kill you. At 60, a straight week of 12 hour shifts will at the very least put you in the hospital.

Sod that. Rather do the catalysts than 12 hour night shifts. It's not that bad with a group.. Granted solo is absolutely nails. I only just managed it solo on normal mode.

It is not as hard as people mske it seem but I'll admit it was of a difficulty level not worth the reward. I'm glad I have all catalysts/intrinsics and never have to go back.

I can't think of a single thing in this game right now that's worth it. I'm just logging in to kill some time and maybe advance a little bit, but I'm done chasing stuff. Bungie have cured me of FOMO. IJDGAS anymore.

Yeah well most people went after the catalyst not for the catalyst they did it because it's a requirement for the title you have to complete legendary Avon lol... Even if you don't want the catalyst you would still have to complete the mission if you want the title Queenguard

7 RepliesGot to the second timed section and just quit playing. It was boring. It was frustrating. It was all big blue blocks because it's cheaper. I hate timed events. They're an insult and not a substitute for good content. Running around the EDZ is more fun.

Did the first mission solo , got the weapon , used it then deleted it ….zero interest and the catalyst is pretty underwhelming 🤷🏼♂️

Add in the fact far better Catalysts drop from Strikes, Crucible or Gambit…

It's not even a good exotic, let alone glaive. A bad catalyst doesn't shock anyone.
