Bungie Don’t forget destiny is a pve game
The best weapons (trials smg) should never be locked behind pvp… many of us casuals hate pvp and we shouldn’t feel the need to play it to get the best stuff… didn’t you learn from the mountain top recluse debacle??

Immortal doesn't really stand too far above other options, it's kind of insulting to compare it to Mountaintop/Recluse Synchronic Roulette is a good enough stand-in with similar perks, and Mykel's Reverence will likely stand equal to Immortal when Adept Enhancements come out If you're really looking to optimize Strand Primaries tho, you should probably be using one of the Exotics, due to the innate damage bonus

The best PvP weapons should never be locked behind difficult PvE content. Vex Mythoclast is too hard for a casual PvP player to get. Bungle shouldn’t require a PvP player to do a raid to get raid weapons. You see how stupid this sounds?

Bungie doesn't give a F for as casual players, they punishing the PVE players that enjoy by nurff all the good guns I hope to lose players maybe they can learn, they think because only PVP players they keep the game alive, which PvP players they don't spend the money for DLCs because it's free to play PVP

It’s not like the weapon is so OP in PvE you practically need it to complete content with minimal hassle. This isn’t mountaintop and recluse. It’s good for strand builds, but not so godly it can make or break a build. You can get a very similar roll on the auto rifle from this season’s activity. The only thing it’s missing is alacrity, which is a trials exclusive origin perk.

I don’t pvp much but PVP hasn’t gotten any significant attention from Bungie in forever. It’s well past time for some new maps and to try out some new game modes. They make a -blam!- ton of money , hire some more staff and put out substantial content.

Call it like it is - "Bungie, I want a PvP weapon to use in my free PvP bot lobbies but I don't want to work to get it. Effort should be put in on the PvE side, so please give it to me for real. 21 Replies1: Destiny is in fact a PvE and a PvP game. 2: The trials SMG is not the single best weapon for PvE, in fact in PvE you can use a majority of all the weapons in the game. 3: If you hate PvP, then don't play it. Nobody is forcing you to play PvP.

1 Reply"don't forget destiny is a PvE game" bruh, its been over a year and a half and PvP has had 0 changes and has been turned into a neglected game mode. 1 new weapon comes out, and of all the already broken weapons, abilities, bugs and cheese already in the game that bungie doesn't care to nerf or fix, you complain about a PvP related weapon? every best PvP weapon in this current sandbox is obtainable through PvE, so why complain about a single trials weapon?

I think bungie has forgotten it’s also a pvp game at this point. If you don’t play pvp you don’t need the trials smg, it is not good in pve

PvP should just be removed, 9/10 its the cause of pretty much every nerf thats happened to the game outside of the rare occasion of a busted raid weapon which bungie typically nerfs instantly or disables for weeks/months on end. PvP has been ruining destiny since d1

The more players you get into trials the more fun it gets. And blaming bungie for adding ONE good weapon into trials is very low minded of you. You have at least 20 other s tier weapons to grind out in pve and i am not even speaking of the actual viability of the immortal in pve... its nice to have but not a must. In case you really want it you can farm reputation in trials and focus tons of smgs afterwards....no need to sweat for it.

2 RepliesAs a PvE main, I'm thinking you should let them have this one. From what I've read, outside of PvP it's not of major consequence. And if you opt to go that route, then all the best PvE gear should be readily available to PvP mains, some of whom don't like running things like raids and dungeons.
