Increase DARCI damage or make it a special weapon
Right now, DARCI does 19k to oryx on a precision hit. Catalyst can’t activate bc for some reason it can’t lock on to oryx. For comparison, my succession (reconstruction vorpal) does 23k. It is laughable to think that a craftable special sniper could do that much more damage than a heavy that used to be top-of-the-line dps (back during scourge, at least). Either DARCI should receive a base damage buff - and made so it can lock onto other bosses like oryx - or it should be moved to a special slot instead of heavy

Since Bungie won't let go of their cancerous Champions, give DARCI inherent universal anti-champion.

Personal Assistant should proc anti-champ mods after scanning said champion. Being a heavy sniper should be more than enough restriction for a powerful perk like that.

I'm pretty sure the only thing it actually gets used for is rangefinding for YouTube videos testing other, and far better, weapons. I got the catalyst for it and made it somewhere around 10% of the way into the kills and just couldn't take it anymore. You would be far better off just swinging the damn thing like a club than actually trying to shoot anything with it. I'd say it's a dumpster fire, but that at least has a chance of actually killing someone. In case you can't tell, I'm not a fan.

Poor DARCI, I haven't touched her since Chasm of Screams for the Thorn quest, I wish it was a more viable option for things. A situational exotic with limited purpose.

3 RepliesPeople were predicting DARCI would be overpowered in Lightfall. Looks like that didn’t happen. It is probably the worst exotic in the history of Destiny.
