In honoring memory, Valus Ta'aurc Strike should return.

Might just be nostalgia talking, but I really liked that strike as well and would love to have it back whether it made sense storywise or not. Really, most of D1's strikes were really fun. I don't think I've ever just ran strikes in this game for the fun of it but used to do it all the time in D1. At this point I think I'd be ok if we just skipped some of the normal seasonal content in favor of putting that dev time towards bringing some of the old content like strikes back even if it's just for "reasons". And a heroic strike playlist too. Even with the recent changes the strike playlist is still a snooze fest. Put a chest at the end of the heroics that gives a chance at a random red border or something if they don't want to do actual strike specific loot, whatever.

ZAVALA: Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I have gathered, he commands the Siege Dancers from an imperial land tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out and break their grip on Freehold.

Have the new dungeon have the cabal dude return and have Zavala say the line but slightly edited to fit the dungeon.

Seems so long ago that strike. Found it quite cool though! I believe it was the first D1 nightfall I did solo (thank you ice breaker!... also rip)

I’d prefer the opening destiny 2 mission where he pops the bubble for us. Yeah, they could add on to it, maybe have Zavala escort us until his light fade and the cabal….. well 😢
