The Challenge for 200k points is cumulative, not a single run.

I am aware that the challenge is cumulative. My issue is that the two vanguard pinnacle drops are not consistent. For both drops, you do 3 on Hero (2 if it's a nice strike that week and a normal strike) or 2 on Legend. Why is it that you still have to do 2 on Master when the "matching surge" pinnacle auto-completes? The purpose of the post was to bring attention to this issue, as it seems to be an oversight on Bungie's part.

If so there is no pinnacle reward for that.

We are totally aware of this, however this not regarding the pinnacle, this is for the 200K score for guardian rank 9, which needs to be achieved in a single run.

You might need to wait for a different Nightfall or Grandmaster difficulty.

It is not about bypassing the score limit via cheeses, it is about that they messed up the modifiers starting this season. Also the same problem in Dares of Eternity. So being able to revive cheese in the NF to achieve the score is not a solution to the underlying problem. EDIT: We even mentioned that in the post... but noones seems to read anyway.
