Can't change my Bungie name, even though I'm brand new.
So I just connected my Xbox account to my Bungie account and it assigned me some random Guardian name. I went in to try to change it and it's telling me I can only change the name once. I've obviously never changed my name before, so I'm trying to figure out how I can do that?

5 RepliesIf your name was auto-Guardian'd due to the filter upon initial log-in and your name has never been manually changed, you should have another name change. Please keep in mind that if your name was auto-Guardian'd, then your platform name is not acceptable to be used and you'll need to pick something else. This is also the case even if the name is suggested as a possible name; the name suggestion system just suggests your platform names, even if they're not acceptable to be used.

Your name will most likely be changed back to Guardian. You can't have Matt in your name.

Any name that contains banned words, phrases or string of letters will be automatically removed. Such examples are commonly used numbers like emergency numbers, 69, 420 and 666.
