I thought that this was the strongest point of the campaign. Even though it seemed a little weird that the witness could just control ghost and get the veil, I liked the situation it put us in.
So, why didn’t you shoot your ghost?
Edit: clearly I should have added a “because I had a Khostov” option haha

-
Because I was using kastavo
-
I woulda shot him because I preferred dinklebot
-
I woulf have shot him 🤷♂️ then i could finally get a vacation and stop being janitor for the vanguard, eris, osiris, and a while ball that hasnt done -blam!- in 200yr but die twice and leave us with a shitty lockpick thats scared of its oen shadow, i miss dinkle bot; at least he sounded like he had a spine.
-
As soon as you had to shoot Ghost it gained 20 power levels over you and your weapons would become like peashooters, so yeah, it would have been futile.
-
Makes no sense spend ages learning about strand and I couldn't even grapple my ghost back after mastering strand
-
1 ReplyBecause he was in the van shell and lil dude was just going for a Sunday drive.
-
Because I quit and just left him there in the middle of King's Fall
-
2 RepliesI do actually like the little guy. But also Immortality gone and if our Guardian kicks it everybody's boned anyway because not a single one of the other Guardians that exist are able to get a single damn thing done.
-
Because I was to confused about my gun magically becoming Khvostov
-
Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 3/15/2023 8:52:35 PMWhy shoot it when we can essentially fly? It was only like 15 feet above us so why not just jump up, grab it and knock some sense into it lmao If that doesn't work try the reset button... If that doesn't work hit the off switch, wait a few minutes then power it back on.. least that's what my internet provider tells me everytime I call them 🤣
-
1 ReplyWe could have just grappled our ghost!?
-
I have stormtrooper aim…
-
It wasn't invisible. I can't handle seeing things in the game now
-
I was playing with Witherhoard. If the cutscene show my weapon instead of the Khvostov , i had a very good excuse to miss the shot.
-
I wanted to use my sleeper on it I don't know what you are talking about
-
3 RepliesBecause I couldn't. During that cutscene, I was saying,"Do it, do it!" Anything that would prevent me listening to that little shits whiney voice anymore would get a thumbs up from me.
-
Edited by ProbablyJosh: 3/16/2023 10:55:08 AMWell 1: nimbus got in the way and although cringe doesn't deserve to take the bullet imo 2: my ghost is a kitty cat so I'd have to shoot it 9 times...don't think there was enough time for that
-
Because we deserved to lose after Nimbus' cringe -blam!- dialogue and fistbump.
-
Edited by UnspokenONI: 3/16/2023 6:57:21 AMI wanted the witness to win to embrace the darkness
-
It wasn’t in the script 🤷♂️
-
2 RepliesI wanted to, so very badly. To end this miserable existence of being incinerated, disintegrated, and eviscerated time and time again. To stop him from speaking for me, keeping me hostage, never letting me die the final death. But I could see that the broken Khvostov my gun transformed into through divine intervention was never going to be strong enough to pierce ghost's plot armor. Guess I'll go silently ponder what the hell the Veil really is and why everyone knew it was so important but had no information on it whatsoever.

Edited by MC 077 Lasombra: 3/16/2023 3:12:31 AMUlan-Tans theory of symmetry posed the same question: would you’d sacrifice the light to stop the darkness. That moment is pretty major. Because we didn’t. We hesitated
-
I thought my guardian might have actually done it, but a part of me didn't want to cause I had old Dinkle Bot flashbacks and I'd miss my homie.
-
didnt want nimbus to fist me again
-
It definitely represents a plot hole. If the Witness is that powerful, it could have commanded all ghosts to kill themselves. Then no guardians. Suraya would be happy.
-
Because Bungie decided that I was using a Khvostov for the mission and not Osteo Striga, so I was unable to land the killing shot.
