I recently purchased the standard edition of Destiny 2: Lightfall for $49.99, but saw yesterday that the $99.99 Annual Pass Edition was on sale for 50% off. The sale said it had 15 hours left before it was gone and I even refreshed my Xbox store several times to make sure it was still on and it was. I requested a refund for my standard edition purchase in order to instead purchase the one that was on sale, however the moment I refunded my purchase the sale suddenly disappeared. I didn’t take a screenshot of the sale in the Xbox Store, however a friend was able to purchase the $99.99 edition for $49.99 even though my sale suddenly disappeared. Xbox Support did nothing but send me to Bungie Support, and now I can't play Lightfall at all since it was refunded.
