This is all my opinion from experience of course. But being 1815 and every mob on the new underwhelming zone still being stronger than me isnt fun. Shooting mag after mag into one enemy in higher level activities gives me brain rot. I liked the raid a lot after contest mode, but why does everything all the tome have to have this incredibly boring difficulty scaling? What the hell does this change achieve?

1 ReplyMassive over exaggeration as usual

3 RepliesA lot of the more difficult activities have just become unfun. I was starting to really like GMs last season but I don’t think I’ll even be bothering with them this season. Now even strikes feel like less fun. They just drag on to long to the point of not being as much fun. To many bullets needed to kill enemies and they somehow made the bounty grind worse in all of this.

8 RepliesI am no longer an invulnerable god and actually have to use more than a few braincells to survive encounters. Time to go get that tablespoon of cement and harden the F up. Or go play FFXIV, that game caters to every casual need you will ever have.
-
What the hell does this change achieve?
Artificial grind, inflating playtime. That's it.

3 RepliesPeople who complain the game is hard are : Using 2 primary weapon / dont super / dont use heavy ammo / dont mod armor / dont use exotic .....
-
3 RepliesBeing able to play parts of the game where you can't just shut your brain of and disengage from its content. That's why I enjoy a challange, what's the point of playing a game if you don't have to try to feel rewarded? That's what cookie clickers are for

1 ReplySome like some don’t ….Bungie doesn’t care . This is the way . Destiny before was mindlessly easy to the point you didn’t need to think . It’s all about your load out . People give up way to easily or pay people to play the game for them which is just ridiculous.

1 ReplyI am 1810 at the moment… and Hero Nightfall this week feels like a GM from last season… Legend last sectors… sure they are doable solo… but doing them feels like a torture… DOE Legend feels like a torture as well… Played with random players today (everyone above 1800) and we still didn’t finish on time with 250k score as it took us too long to finish the extra round when the score was already going down due to a time penalty. There are some pve activities that feel OK as is… But most of pve is way over the top for normal activities.

1 ReplySome people may find it fun, others not. It depends. Persoanlly speaking, I simply believe that Bungie accidentaly F up the difficulty scaling among Activities (Raid Contest Mode included). It's the only plausible explanation for the actual state of the game =/

A challenge should be by choice for some people? Maybe they will implement this later.
-
2 RepliesSome people enjoy a challenge.

1 ReplyStrikes feel good Gambit is the same I'm low light still, so I'm not sure about the new patrol area.
-
13 RepliesThat you can't bot-walk through 90% of the game anymore, that's what.
-
1 ReplyWhat’s funny is now we HAVE to depend on each other. Warlocks the medics, titans the shield and hunters the dps
-
1 ReplyPeople can say what they will about how easy or hard the game should be but its clear that right now the game is in an identity crisis. The raid is by far and away the easiest ever and meanwhile every playlist and patrol activity has you buildcrafting just to be able to kill red bars. The difficulty spectrum is completely broken
-
25 RepliesEnemies are actually dangerous. Builds and Stats matter more now. It's far more engaging in the way that people seek to make their preferred weapons work in this new difficulty
-
1 ReplyMan, we went in for the legendary vexcalibur last night and got absolutely slapped. I threw a nova bomb at an orange bar Minotaur and it didn’t die. 😵
-
5 RepliesThe funny thing is destiny 1 was actually this level of hard, everyone just got used to being tanks in destiny 2 lol.
-
3 RepliesEnemies are actually dangerous now.
-
I’ve done a lot of the Patrol activities at 1770ish and haven’t had issues yet. I like it being harder. Now the Calus legendary fight, yeah that was some pain lmao. Almost made have to buy a new mouse.

Edited by Tis-but-a-scratch: 3/14/2023 4:46:06 PMWhat’s funny is the perk “envious assassin” Can’t even get it to perk on patrol because you can’t get multiple kills fast enough unless using heavy.
-
Whats fun? I can't bot-walk through 90% of the game anymore. I actually have to pay a little attention, which is a lot more fun than turning my brain off.
-
3 RepliesIt keeps people playing longer, which raises the "Play Time" statistic which bungie uses to determine how popular their game is, and to show their masters (in this case, Sony) how much people love playing the game. I wonder if bungie realizes that Sony employees can read, and are likely in here reading the tombs of negative comments about the game.

Edited by Kiro - 13: 3/14/2023 3:31:08 PMYou cant really use average or mid-ling weapons/builds any more in legendary content. Before you could walk through events with blue/green weapons with out a scratch. Now even decent or OK weapons are not really effective and you have to put in some effort.
-
Nothing. It's just easier to manage coding wise because destiny 2 content is already finished and they most likely just have a skeleton crew and some interns tweaking a bit here and there

7 RepliesIm expecting -blam!- talk, I’ve seen it on every post. Im a returning player, i skipped beyond trash and didnt care about witch queen, i tried coming back here and there but meh. Im just not finding any enjoyment in anything that requires 1830, it usually caps me or something dumb and its just boring and slow. I would like to be guardian rank 7 but the legend lost sectors have been stupidly annoying to solo on my warlock, where i just have been giving up as i dont want to spend a bunch of time struggling. My current plan is to literally ignore content until im 1830+. Im around 1813 or so now.
