just make it a personally earnable card. they can track healing, so heal a lot in a raid, after that players can give the healer card or something. same with dps, etc... just make it so actions allows you to earn the cards.

Lets not forget the ranks reset every season, so there's LITERALLY no point in doing any of the shít 😂

Ranking system is a good idea but needs some major polish. I, who have completed all raids, done all dungeons solo flawless, have been top 0.1% in Gambit and Top 1% in Trials at various points, etc… should not be the same level as someone who completed the New Light quest two years ago and is coming back. I’m not saying you should have to do all of the stuff above to reach max rank… but… if everyone is Rank 6, then maybe Rank 6 should just be Rank 1 or 2 lol? Also, I think the seasonally resetting rank idea should just be the very top singular rank, not spread throughout like 5 ranks or whatever it is, or not exist at all because that’s what title gilding is for anyway. I think they just generally need to reassess how to organize and judge players on a scale like this. I’m sure they fear little Timmy who only plays patrol will get butthurt when they see they’re only level 3 or something, but if they want it to be a testament of how diverse and capable you are as a player, then someone’s gonna have to be at the bottom 🤷‍♂️ Commendations will always be useless and meaningless at best and have no place having any incentive to give them out besides “I like my teammate.” No guardian ranks and no powerful gear should be tied to commendations.

Tbh if guardian ranks didn't get reset down to rank 6 EVERY season then I'd actually care about them. So much for showing a player's "veteran" level. When everyone is reset anyway.

The whole system doesn't work For me and member of my clan is just a meme and im.sure its like that for most peoples ....just commend anyone anything If that's system is in place for the upcoming in game LFG it will be more of a mess than I thought it would be Guardian rank is ok ....but should be something different... apparently its reseting each season ? That's bad ....it should be adding a new level each season with new goals to achieve higher ranks ... Lightfall overall been good for me other than that Story was a bit meh but the weekly mission and the hidden exotic quest was great ...and I'm biased toward anything shattered realm related

Yep. Could be good in game indicator of skill/experience of are guardian. If some hunter main tells you that he did that raid every week but he's at level 4 - he's lying.

Rework suggestions: - Commend during a match - Commend teammates and opponents - Commend unlimited amount of times - Stimulate commendations by requiring 10000 commendations given for a chance of and exotic engram - - Make it 100000 for guardian rank 12.

They put dev time into two useless things... It is slightly demoralizing

Ranks are fine. I believe the commendation ones don’t reset each season (they don’t appear to have blue outlines and resetting commendation rank each season doesn’t make sense) making them more aspirational content. Each season getting easier. Commendations (especially the pain points) appear to be getting some fixes next week. Didn’t launch well. Neither really mean anything so…

I don't know who was doing good and who wasn't on my team and I don't even get enough time to check everybody score at the end of the game before it's too late to give the accommodations. It's like they wanted to implement a stupid all the kids get a trophy gets a trophy system and make it matter but the only way to make it matter subsequently ruined the idea. They should take out all the requirements and work on making the accommodations something people enjoy just for bragging rights. Once they do that they might be able to find a way to implement it in a way that matters.
