So many giving up on the Nightfall…
I gave up this morning on my third run.
I’d lost count of guardians who came and went and how often I was on my own. I think four or five had a go and then departed.
I’m sure some players will just sail through it and tell me to ‘git gud’ or something like that but I’m sorry, that’s just ridiculous even on Hero.
No matter what weapon or combination of weapons I use, it’s just bullet sponge after bullet sponge after champion bullet sponge and Ghost is the slowest hacker in the world.
Perhaps I will try again tomorrow but Bungie, this just isn’t fun.
Edit: Finally completed! Thanks to the two guardians who stuck with me and saw it done. You were class acts!

1 ReplyThe nightfall is good if you actually have people who know how to do the first part efficiently because other than the first part the nightfall isn't actually that bad, at least there's no respawn restricted if there was then yeah the nightfall would literally be the worst. Also I just thought of something if that's in rotation does that mean that will be a gm. I only ask that if nighfall rotation still exists so I apologize if I'm wrong.

3 RepliesI leave within the first 20 seconds if I see randoms not using proper weapons. If you do not have Unstoppable and Anti-Barrier weapons with mods equipped, I leave. Do not bring legendary AR's, Hand Cannons, Bows or Swords into this activity - your wasting both our time. Yes you can stun Champions with abilities, but grenade and melee come up very slowly (even with 100% in those categories for abilities) that you have likely used them up by the time the Champion shows up.

1 ReplyI did it on hero and didn’t die once lol. You guys gotta seriously learn how to make builds, its not that hard. I do admit it gets harder the second you go on legend but I’m nowhere near 1830 yet and the friends I was playing with were insanely under leveled. As soon as they catch up and make some good builds we are gonna steamroll that too. As for anyone crazy enough to do GM’s, I wish you luck. I have never played any GM’s because Im not about to spend 2-3 hours to complete one nightfall lol.

Genuinely baffled how people are having trouble in this nightfall. I'm as middle tier skilled player as they come and all my runs went smoothely apart from the first run where me abd the blueberries each tried to solo a tower and they left after dying a couple times. Stick together, properly mod your chest armor, and stop trying to smack things with Vexcalibur/Winterbite.

I ignored surges and went stasis on lock with double turrets and went ok also used blinding gl add control is a must

I have done it 9 times just to complete the pinnacle (3 per character) and never had any issues, plus, there is no wipe mechanic either how are people leaving? ITs really not that bad, even if you die over and over you still go, no timer pressure no nothing, why are people laving is beyond me, just stick together at the beginning to speed things up, kill all champs and thats it, like the other person said, wait until GM is on
