(PS5/PS4) Game crashing during Vex Incursion event
The game crashes during the Vex incursion event. It has happened to me and everyone in the clan that has gotten the event [u]every[/u] time we’ve tried to complete it (i.e 20+ times in total). It usually occurs when we’re taking down the last three minotaur bosses, and occurs both on PS5 and PS4. I don’t know how it looks on Xbox or PC, but this needs a fix asap!
We’ve tried to see if it helps to switch weapons, subclasses etc but it still occurs no matter what we try to do to prevent it. By the looks of it, it seems to occur when a lot of ads spawn in and/or multiple people are shooting the minotaurs with the beams that take away their shield.

Just happened to me so this still isn’t fixed.

-blam!- Bungie this -blam!- is so whack. At least give us the gear when the event is completed. Still have yet to complete one because if this. You -blam!- hacks.

yup tried it 10 plus times and it crashes every time. also would be nice if it spawned every 30 minutes than every hour. im not sure if the every hour is right but thats my guess

Same issue. Haven’t managed to do that event once so far because I’ve been plagued with crashes.

This has been happening since lightfall dropped, I have sent numerous reports to sony and bungie and today bungie on twitter has acknowledged it and are looking into it ! So expect a fix before final shape 🤔, I thought might of been ps5 overheating with all the visuals of Neptune and all the explosions so thought I might as well clean the ps5 just to be sure , 427 tiny screws later I get to the heatsink clean it put it all back together and started again only to go into another event and half way through screen frezze lol. At least I learned how to take ps5 apart to clean and I managed to save a few screws !!! They can't be that important, right !

After todays PS5 firmware update for some of us the game crashes constantly before you can even choose your character so it is literally unplayable right now… 0 issues with other apps and games i’ve tried so far, only D2.

Ive had terminal overload crash a few time but the vex incursion event crashes every time i run it

This just happened to me in the NORD. OVE mission on legend. That mission for whatever reason doesn’t allow you to rejoin for any reason.

XBOX S crashed during boss fight in gambit, just now. I crash when I click on Commendations everytime.

It’s not just the vex incursion. It’s happened to me at least 10 times in the last 2 days doing strikes, seasonal activities and just free roaming random areas.

Same here. Playing with just 2 other Rando's in the area and crashed twice...so far. Had the same in the last two spots . The event is OK in itself if it just didn't keep crashing ! 😤

Yep this is happening to me as well. I'm on PS5 and I'm unable to progress Terminal Overload quests and bounties or do the Vex Strike Force event, let alone farm either event. It either crashes earlyish or near the end. Near the end is the worst because of all the wasted time. To get so close to opening the chests and to have my loot snatched away at the last second feels really awful. I'm max stacks of Terminal Overload keys in my inventory and postmaster now because I can't use them but i keep getting them from normal chests or patrols around Neomuna. It seems worse when I'm on Strand sub class (Warlock). With Strand i get a crash earlier in the event it seems. Yesterday I tried it on a Stasis build and was able to make more progress and actually managed to get one completion, but after that it went back to crashing every time again and I had to give up on hours of wasted time. This is really frustrating because there's been no public acknowledgement and it seems like the kind of thing that will take development resources and a patch release to resolve. That means we could be looking at weeks of this and I just don't know if I can handle that.

Same. Has happened to me four different times now. As with everone else, it happens on the last group of minotaurs. Pretty frustrating..
