Really loving how NOBODY hands out commendations...
Topic says it all. Absolutely nobody hands out commendations in half of the playlists. What's the point? I've given 10x more out than I've recieved. Guess I'll hit my 750 in 3 months

1 ReplyAs Soon as the match ends immediately R1 BUTTON . That will get you to the overall match stats screen then put the cursor over the players Banner that will give you the option to give commendations.

1 ReplyOne thing I was frustrated with was that sometimes after games, my commendation screen will be left permanently loading and I literally can’t give a commendation. I always do when I can, but whenever that happened, ugh.

It's Bungie's fault, the game is so buggy, so laggy, sometimes my post-game screen is a blank page. Plus, players are invisible, how am I supposed to know who did what lol? Again, Bungie's fault.

I think there is also a bug where the screen for commendations, the characters don’t load and then ppl can’t give commendations. That or bad internet

The main problem with commendations is that your weapons and other players become invisible if you give commendations, I don't know how it connected, but it's definitely causing this

1 ReplyI hand em out in Strikes, Gambit if it lets me between matches, Crucible won't give you any time to give them out. I think it should allow you to after match endings or something, its the only way you would get one from Crucible, unless they extend the menu wait time.

I have problem with that. Mostly PvP, after game match and players like me can’t pass to commendations cuz loading problems. Other modes that can pass commendations. It think it something to do sbmm.

I just got to the point where I was doing public activities for the first time this season. Nearly every single time I didnt give an accommodation it was because my teammates left before I was able to get to the menu that allowed me to give them. Eventually I learned I could manually go to the menu myself and give out commendations. Even so often times players are so quick to leave and get to the next activity they'll leave before a commendation can be given. Tldr: Stop rushing to get to the next activity and maybe people will have time to give you the accommodations you're looking for.

1 ReplyI’m not dropping a comm for players who do dumb -blam!-. Like rally the flag and run in before everyone gets to the objective, or that run by you if your dead, etc etc. just be mindful of your actions and the comms will come.

Guess I'll hit my 750 in 3 months[/quote] I do. 😇 Sometimes there are issues with the loading screen; in the battleground missions, I hit the big button on my controller (between the two joysticks) asap after opening the chest, to give those commendations…as before, I simply waited for it to appear, and as it took an age, one or both other rando teammates would bounce…leaving me feeling frustrated that I couldn’t give them commendations. I even tried after the event, but was not possible. So, that’s when I hit on the big button trick! 😉👍😁 Ease springs. Play fair. Play nice. 👈 Cheers! 🫡
