Ridiculous Difficulty Curve

I used to enjoy playing this game before Witch Queen, but I noticed that the difficulty curve is WAY harder than it should be. I had to stop playing in Season of the SERAPH because the heist activities were so difficult and tedious, that they were not fun, and I did not do more than I had to beyond the campaign quest. Now in Lightfall campaign on NORMAL, not even on the LEGENDARY game mode it's too hard to even play. I have to unload an ENTIRE CLIP of an exotic weapon to kill one measly "normal" enemy? What the hell is up with that? Like, you added Legendary mode for a challenge for more Elite players, but the majority of new players are not in the Elite percentile, and when you select the "normal" game mode, you don't expect to get killed so often that you can't even kill ads or play the game. If people are saying that it's NOT HARD ENOUGH, I don't know, maybe add another game mode instead of making the base campaign harder for new and casual players? How can I grind and play a game that is more work than fun, what's the point? You are going to drive off new players who will no longer have an interest in your game because it's not fun unless you're power level 1810 and you can actually do damage to regular enemies, never mind elites or bosses. A single person should at least be able to kill ads in NeoMuna. It shouldn't be impossible. What's the point of playing a game at all if you can't even play it Solo? I know that there are "public" events, but not all of us play with a full fireteam. Some people play solo and they should at least be able to kill normal ads like Goblins and Harpies. Please make the game enjoyable again, this isn't fair.

  • In patrol areas the red bars are tougher than in the regular campaign, which is weird. I run super high resilience and that helps. I also use a bow and try to take out enemies at distance. I use a sword because I can’t accidentally blow myself up. Videos help for finding hiding spots and ways to kill bosses. There’s a Calas one that makes it easy. Same for Headlong. I agree that being too hard is a bad thing, but Bungle refuses to have difficulty settings the way most games have.
