New player weapon mods
I am a new player and I don't seem to have a way to get weapon mods. I can't buy them at banshee or unlock them through guardian rank. I have asked on reddit and the only suggestion was to get them through guardian rank, but there does not seem to be a way to unlock them. I've also seen other new players posting about this and no one seems to have a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

@BNGHelp2 I want to BUMP this topic. Holy moly I searched long for an answer about this. Still not able to get these basic mods....... Update would be nice. There must be so low number of new players as I've not come accross this in last few weeks...

2 RepliesSo Bungie, any updates on this? My mod list is completely empty, cant get any, cant even equip seasonal artifact mods, as they are not showing up on the list. It's been a while now this is ongoing. And I don't see it on today's hotfix list. So you can develop and implement a fix within 24h in something so trivial like gear farming spot but you do nothing with nearly game breaking bug for new players? Oh, sorry. You're "investigating"...

Likewise, I started playing about 5 days ago as a new player, never unlocked weapon mods and my mod list on hovering over any weps shows nothing.
